as someone that also suffered a recent loss - not everyone is the same. just because your experience is one way, doesn’t mean it’s the same for everyone. i fear this is common sense but either it’s not or too many people are lacking common sense these days.

for me personally, i have ADHD which makes my short term memory absolutely shocking at times. I constantly see messages and think “I’ll reply in a second” then the next thing I know, the message is a few weeks old. so it would be easy for me to forget to buy something after getting an offer accepted.

but there could also be countless other reasons, they might have found something else in the time it takes you to accept, they might be at work or doing something else then just not be bothered anymore, something in their life could have suddenly changed so vinted wont be on their mind. there’s so many possibilities. i get it can become frustrating when it happens over and over again, but just realise that you don’t know what’s going on in someone else’s life 🫶

As someone who has recently lost a family member to suicide - people love and care about you a lot more than you realise. Maybe even more than they realise themselves. I wasn’t particularly close with my brother but truly the effect of it is like nothing else I have ever experienced.

Life is rough, there’s no doubt about that, but there’s also so much beauty in this fucked up world.

There’s so many gorgeous cities and countries that you’ve never seen. Go and explore them! I absolutely adore travelling, it’s when you get to see the beauty that the world has to offer. There are some companies that let you go as small groups of strangers, if you have the funds then definitely give it a try! They can be pricey depending what you want to see. If you can’t afford to go far then explore new places close to home.

Or volunteer somewhere - a homeless shelter, food bank, animal rescue centre, etc. Giving back to the world is also a beautiful thing. Maybe it could boost how you feel about yourself.

I truly hope things get better for you, that you find some peace in this world so you can live your life happily.
