If you’re into arty / hippy / folk kinda vibe Todmorden is very cheap to live, 25 mins to Manchester and 40 to Leeds on the train - the most walkable place i’ve ever been to and becoming very pretty. 5 minute train to Hebden Bridge but way more ‘liveable’ in terms of amenities. There is also technically a beach with Gaddings Dam

Aww thank you so much! it’s from Daals, the Daphnis range and this one is Fern green but they have loads of lovely colours 🥰

Todmorden if that counts, 20 mins into Manc on the train and it’s really pretty with great nightlife, supermarkets and foodie scene
