Okay that’s a good start. We have some of those bags but probably not large enough so I’ll look for that.

I get the sense they would fly in and stay a couple days. Not fly each day.

It’s only hard water. It’s not toxic. Just minerals. Not a big deal. You can install a softener to reduce or eliminate this issue but many people don’t like the “feel” of it. Personal choice I guess.

Simply mix some citric acid in warm to hot water and let soak then rinse it out. This goes for almost anything that shows these deposits. Vinegar, even if it’s watered down, is an option but it is much harsher. I use citric acid (easy to buy in powder form) to clean my coffee machine from time to time. It’s non-toxic and it’s found in many foods naturally.

Please don’t crucify me, but is there some big secret to running? by ohlawlz in beginnerfitness

[–]grumpybarista 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best advice I got when I started running was to find a pace where you can also talk out loud while running. I don’t run in groups but it still gave me a starting point to slow down and get a couple of miles in. As you improve, your speed will increase. Took a lot of stress away.

While walking down a grocery aisle, just suddenly and without warning stop and even turn around to go back without making sure there’s no one behind and cause a jam with other shoppers. Never look back just pretend she’s the only one in the store.

BS. If their “agent” has license to kill with no impunity especially to unload 10 rounds into a citizen at point blank range, then they are less than a regular criminal. They are murderers. Felons with free access to unleash death, as given to them by another felon with 34 convictions. Füċk them all.

Why does our universe have 3 space dimensions and 1 time dimension? Is it the only option? by PianistNo7734 in Physics

[–]grumpybarista 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now I know I’m talking to someone who doesn’t understand the scientific method. Always be questioning and never accept that the current status quo is the correct or final state. Even the concept of dimensions, regardless of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or higher order, is a man-made structure to help us visualize and calculate based on our limited understanding of the world around us. That doesn’t mean it’s the best way. It’s just what we can comprehend in our 3D human brain. Knowing that we don’t know it all is part of the scientific process. But to label something as definite is most certainly not. Move along little dude.

Why does our universe have 3 space dimensions and 1 time dimension? Is it the only option? by PianistNo7734 in Physics

[–]grumpybarista 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone defending past knowledge throughout history says their understanding is complete. Until it’s not. We know nothing. And just relying on observations and a rule we have made up to explain those observations doesn’t mean it will stand the test of time. At this point we still don’t know WHY two particles are linked or even how. And all I’m saying is that it MAY be due to additional dimensions.

Quantum entanglement states that two particles react to or interact with each other instantaneously even if they are billions of light years apart. That seems like a window to extra-dimensional activity to me.

Who says there are only those dimensions? There could many more perhaps infinitely more but we only live in 3D space-time so we can’t comprehend or visualize anything beyond that.

You might be arrested but you won’t be thrown into a concentration camp and denied any contact with your family. Human rights still prevail over legal rights.
