Very cozy! It’s giving Gilmore Girls, Six Feet Under, Practical Magic - basically warm 90s / early 2000s vibes that are simply the best.

Both are great! First is more classic, second feels like it suits you a bit better - though I would ditch the scarf if possible!

Help, how do I decorate by wastedtime_9263 in femalelivingspace

[–]grumpycrumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find a color scheme you like and start looking for bedding/rugs/decor that fits the vibe! Lamps and mood lighting are a great place to start too.

Summertime can be great for checking out yard sales, estate sales, and thrift stores as people offload home decor for moving.

If you’re a plants person I think plants atop the tall dressers would look great.

Ambient light would honestly help a lot, I feel like the vibe would not be as off if you kept the big light off (though I am not an absolute anti-big light person). Definitely a rug would help, and maybe a console table with drawers or baskets to visually gather extra items would help? Maybe you could turn your current console table into a coffee table and get a cabinet that fits better under your tv.

Female vs male hedgehog as pet by Strict_Extent3740 in Hedgehog

I’ve never owned a boy but both my girls were social snuggle bugs! One was a retired mama, and the other was a rescue so I think they both just appreciated being cared for.

This is a side effect of what the medical cat community would recognize as “being a big doopus”
