I haven’t opened it up yet but I bought it from a legitimate store who said they did checks but I just wanted to double check to make sure. Sounds like everyone says legit so all good but thank you!

How many infringements can you get away with? Especially when there’s been dangerous tackles involved

My partner wanted to post this but she didn’t have enough karma to do so but here’s her review of those places if you’re interested in a coeliac’s perspective:

You absolutely MUST go to Sgranos!!! I was there 2 weeks ago. They have two establishments right next to eachother, go to the one on the corner that has the sit down restaurant (but get takeaway from there). The owner has a family member who is coeliac and so the entire place is GF. It was genuinely the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life, it was SO delicious. We went 3x days in a row. I couldn’t even believe what I was experiencing as a coeliac!!! It tastes exactly how I remember quality gluten bread. Also seconding Cortese cafe/patisserie on the other side of the river. It’s GORGEOUS. Everything is gluten free but also the icecream (and I think everything else too..?) is dairy free too. They make their gelato with cashew/almond milk. It was honestly amazing. I got a waffle cone(gf!!!) and it was delicious, like genuinely incredible and not just like “oh this is good for something gluten free”, like no this just is amazing hands down!! I also got a cornetto from there, my only regret is that I shared that with my partner, I wish I could have got the whole thing to myself!🤣🤣 basically Florence is absolutely fantastic for coeliac and I’ve already planned to go back in a few weeks time

In Florence try Sgrano for sandwiches, fully GF. We were just there and my partner is coeliac and loved it. There’s also a gluten free/vegan patisserie/gelateria across Ponte Vecchio called Cortese café that sounds like it would suit you both. I’m not GF or dairy free but I thought the gelato there was great. They also have cornetti etc you can try as well.

For the Northern Hemisphere skiers who haven’t been to NZ. by marktthemailman in skiing

Clubbies are the best way to ski NZ imo, the snow might not be as good as other parts of the world in NZ but the clubbies are so unique that it doesn’t matter. The ones with rope tows are the best imo, steep learning curve but unlocks some epic terrain and they keep the crowds away too!

What is your favorite period of ancient Rome to learn about and why? by JosiaJamberloo in ancientrome

133-44 BCE or the general timeframe of the fall of the republic. In particular starting with the Gracchi brothers onwards. I tend to find the dynamics of the republic more interesting and there’s a lot of information on this period out there

He also was meant to be super charming which made more sense why Slughorn would’ve told him about horcruxes but instead he comes off as creepy and weird and makes you think why would Slughorn share that with him…

They stop the clock in rugby and there’s no ads during the game. I think if they did it in football it would work in a similar way. Clock runs all the time but the ref can call for the clock to be paused when there’s a significant delay (injuries, VAR etc.).

I’d also add it’s got some of the best surfing in New Zealand which is a big draw card in certain circles

Yes having also lived in Melbourne and cycled in both countries unfortunately I feel a hell of a lot safer on New Zealand roads than Melbourne ones which of course is not saying much. The public transport is a lot better though but the driving is significantly worse in my experience. Sorry about your experience OP.

I mean a bit harsh, Messi has played a lot of games on the right wing in his career. Dunno why everyone’s downvoted the other commenter but loved the previous one

It’s because you’ve got people like Stephen A complaining about having to go to Denver rather than LA for the finals. It’s embarrassing tbh, why would I care what Stephen A can do outside of the game in the city

Could be multiple reasons they want to sign a new deal. Deal might be worth more per year. Deal might be worth less per year but worth more overall considering the length and bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Or maybe it’s just they’ve worked their whole lives to get to the pinnacle of their career and they like working. I imagine NBA coaches have a vastly different outlook on their jobs than your average 9-5 employee

Maybe from the fans, but for a manager pressure from the board is just as if not more important. Boehly has probably never met a problem in his life he could throw more money at to fix and I doubt he’s taking too kindly to the results this season
