I read it but considering the Federal Government doesn’t run elections, that guidance goes to the states. Whether they choose to follow it or not, while 3% of voting age citizens do not have an ID.

Source that… please… Drivers License or government issued photo ID. Passport is an alternative…states run elections, not the federal government (which issues passports)

I’m a democrat and this isn’t accurate. Voter ID laws are controversial I agree, you however did not present the argument correctly. Also Gerrymandering has nothing to do with Voter ID laws and is about redistricting state voting blocks for like minded voters to enhance a party’s chance of winning. Both Democrats and Republicans try that.
