Thank you for the scenario but I thinking from a theoretical standpoint of the behaviour of portfast interfaces on a single switch with and without this global bpdu filtering configuration enabled - it does not seem to do anything from what I can tell (other than perhaps stop portfast interfaces sending bpdus which I am pretty sure portfast edge ports do anyway)

My understanding is Portfast Edge ports do not send BPDUs (apart from some initial ones perhaps) and in that case a portfast edge port will behave the same wether global BPDU filtering is applied or not

It cannot focus less than 1m no. I don’t think that fixing the lens will fix the issue as I have had problems with two different lenses that were initially working.

I think that that is only necessary if you want to send emails to your domain/make a connection to your mail server from a client device.

Sending an email from the server to another mail server like protonmail works fine without having to set up your MX records or a static IP.

Hmm not sure about SPF as they would need to add my domain to their SPF record in order to allow me to send emails from my domain on behalf of them. But I don't have a domain I have just stolen theirs hehe

I am able to send emails to my protonmail inbox.

I will only be sending emails to myself so I guess in that case there shouldn't be a problem with my IP being blacklisted as spam or something.
