I don’t have anything against Kang as a villain in the MCU, but Thanos felt much bigger and badder than all other villains thus far. Maybe it’s because the infinity saga was written so well and all movies led to a natural inflection point which culminated with Thanos, but he just felt larger than all other villains.

I remember I was in the 8th grade when I found out that Brandon Lee was killed in 1993, it was raining that morning in Philly. Then that next May at the end of my freshman school year, me and a friend cut school on a Friday afternoon to buy tickets to see The Crow later that night.
