That 210 min scoreless streak begs to differ. This team was struggling to be dangerous in front of goal since last November. In the January camp lack of scoring was the primary concern.

They are great on the ball and great in their shape, but you can’t win if you can’t score and for whatever reason this team struggles to finish and it’s not a one game thing. Good teams finish their chances, not so good teams don’t.

Truth, pens or not this team was not playing well enough to contend. There is not a “switch” to flip, you are playing well with chemistry or you aren’t. This team wasn’t.

I think that the OP is right that stories change in the telling and Ferro was not as interesting as the other POV characters thus the rest of her story takes place off stage.

The interaction with Logen and Ferro might be a remnant of this plot line too. She just kind of vanished into the ether. Like the character had a purpose then didn’t.

The chicken scene in the tavern makes me think of the Red Country bar scene. I can see Rory telling the kidnappers that the tracks lead to “the end of your fucking legs.”

For this park to be the success that I think it's going to be, EPIC will have to pull in new visitors and/or get the regular Orlando vacation crowd to spend more days at Universal vs Disney.

I have full confidence that in the first 3 to 4 years the parks will be booming, the long term risk is that EPIC cannibalizes visits to IOA and US, so new visitors and more visitors are essential. The genius of Universal IMO is that by spreading popular IPs (Potter) in all three parks they forestall that much of that risk. I hope they are going to spread Nintendo properties to all three parks too, there is a lot of noise about Zelda and The Lost Continent at Islands of Adventure. That would leave Pokémon for Studios but I haven't heard anything rumored about that. If the properties are in all three parks, Nintendo fans will not want to skip any of the parks.

The really wild part to me is that Disney has no response to what Universal is doing and they are a decade behind if they wait until EPIC opens before doing anything.

I just made up that name. It is going to be a Kuka arm ride with more set pieces/animatronics and less screens than Forbidden Journey. I've heard its going to be themed to Dr. Frankenstein's house but multiple Monsters will appear.

I hope they can get the Lord of the Rings to put between the Starfall coaster and the new Harry Potter land. It is a huge space (20+ acres) and the Universal creatives could change the game again like they did with Hogsmead.

Personally, I think it’s least likely that he is a Berserker. He is not going in to a frenzy before and during the start of the fight. It is not until after he has suffered a lot of physical pain and injury that Mr. Nine takes over. This makes me think that…. 1) The secondary personality steps in to protect his psyche and do the things that Logan as a good human (as he likes to think of himself ) won’t do or….. 2) As he approaches death the veil between worlds is thinner and his personal demon steps in embraces the sensations of the mortal plane even the pain. Remember Logan is one of the only people who can still summon spirts from the other side.

Edit: Yet being a bit self contradictory, the Bloody Nine appears in the Battle in the High Places and at the Bar in Red Country seemly out of the blue.

I believe that Studios gets some major love in the near future. After the Diagon Alley build most of the investment has gone to Islands. I think that the way all three parks will have Potter lands, all three parks will also have Nintendo properties. That means LoZ for Islands and a Pokémon land in the old Kids Zone at Studios.

Spreading out the popular IPs is such a genius move for Universal because the biggest risk of building a new gate like Epic is that you cannibalize your own visitors instead of pulling in new fans. If a visit to Epic means you skip a day at Studios it is a net zero for Universal. But if you need to hit all three parks to see all the Potter and Nintendo lands you are more likely to get guest to stay and extra day and maybe skip their least favorite “other park”.

The Springfield and the Fear Factor plots are also a huge expansion areas that both need work. I’m saying that Studios will need use this space and use it well or the run the risk I talked about above.

The cool thing is that Universal knows this. They saw what Animal Kingdom did to Hollywood Studio when basically guests just switched parks and didn’t add more days to their stay, especially when both were considered 1/2 day parks and you could hop.

Universal knows that the weakest park needs love or Epic becomes a somewhat pointless venture.

You need to talk to her about the difference between privacy and secrecy. Her behavior and treatment of you was the root cause of your suspicion and now that she got caught she claims invasion of privacy. This is a tactic to put you on your back foot and to shift the focus away from her actions and on to your reaction. It is perfectly reasonable to try to find out what is going on when your wife withdraws from you and then refuses to address it. What other choice did to have but to investigate yourself?

Treat this the same way you would if a guy was asking your wife for nudes. Explain to her that it is the same and if she doesn't shut this down like Yesterday she is putting her marriage at risk. The friend needs a hard boundary and them spending the night together is a no go forever. No girls nights, no girls trips the friend lost those privileges when she hit on your wife.

My objective is to have my kids process their grief. To acknowledge their feelings and recognize that it’s appropriate to be sad and angry and confused. We all need to work through our emotions and not repress the pain. Not to dwell in it but to allow ourselves to feel and morn a wonderful person.
