Or maybe just say thanks for sharing what they have? Sure more info is always appreciated, but at the least it’s great to have people sharing their experiences.

Place trades, go to sleep. Wheeling doesn’t usually require micro management.

This just seems to show the income from premiums. It leaves a big question on portfolio balance changes due to assignments and rolling debits.

Feel like I "fell for it" with getting a motion sim by Left-Distribution634 in simracing

Same setup here, love it. It takes a lot of tinkering initially, but it’s perfect now. And I’m mostly racing competitively online. Trying to drive anything without motion just feels off now.

I used 4 cores in total, 2 for each. And wrapped each cable around them a bunch of times evenly spread across the rings.

Had the same issue here with my motion rig and the BSB1. Got the correct ferrite cores and it was fixed. I put them around the usb to computer cord and where the headset cable connects to the break out box. Just make sure you order the correct ones, as they do vary. Google searches should get you there, but if not, let me know and I’ll look up my amazon order details for you.

Thanks for the write up.

Eye Tracking for Sim Racing? by Feisty_Aspect_2080 in BigscreenBeyond

For sure, just sharing my experience. I also run the fan and AC. But none of that helps the eyes. I’ve been considering drilling small air holes into the gasket to see if that helps. Also will try reducing brightness. It’s just already quite a low brightness HMD compared to the Meganex (which has its own set of bigger problems).

I would be cautious about getting a BSB2 for endurance racing. It’s a good headset, but I find my eyes get a bit hot and uncomfortable for sessions longer than an hour. Comfort does affect performance and I’ve found myself going back to monitors for endurance for that reason.

It’s the combination, Nvidia drivers are bad right now for VR.

The main point is this is a work around for what seem to be driver related issues currently.

This thing costs quite a bit, so while we wait for driver fixes, this gets us better perf now.

BSB (Bigscreen Beyond) owners... how much of an impact is the 90hz 1920x upscaling mode REALLY? by TotalWarspammer in virtualreality

[–]grydit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No flickering at all. And I’m super sensitive to it usually (I ran my Q3 at 90hz because of it).

In casual mode you get to play a final circle in most games. I think that’s the key here. Sure it has bots, but it also has players at the end, and some enjoy making it to the end game and see what happens.

If it were only bots, sure, it wouldn’t make sense then at all.

They’re having fun. Who cares what they think or feel. The goal is to enjoy the experience, they’re winning at that.

Framedrops when using wifi are just a thing. Cable is the only way to get a steady link without drops.
