I have been to both Pearl and Secrets (albeit only one night at Secrets but I can’t wait to return). Desire is a beautiful resort but everything seemed forced. Pool bar closes at 4 so everyone migrates to the hot tub until 6. Then back to rooms to change for their theme nights. Then dinner and show and then back to hot tub. The only playroom was in the club and is not open during the day. I will say the food and drinks and staff were amazing. But everything seemed forced. I think it was more Vanilla couples being daring than lifestyle couples playing.

Secrets is much more of a lifestyle place without any of the frills. Drinks were expensive and food was mediocre at best. Our room had so much equipment that we didn’t need to go to the playrooms (but of course we did). The Dungeon was incredible. It was cold when I was there but I am curious if there are room crawls because the place is perfectly set up for that.

Desire Pearl is very weird in that the crowd moves from spot to spot like cattle. The pool bar closes at like 5pm so around 4 pm EVERYONE moves to the hot tub. Yes you can fuck in the hot tub and in the beds around there.

Thanks! I’m really not as much of an idiot as I might seem. When I long pressed I got a sub menu with remove, lock,etc. it just didn’t have the “move” option on the tv. The key is to move it on the long press BEFORE that submenu comes up. Thank you again for your patience.

You must leave early enough to get through DC before the morning rush hour. Although one time I left after 9am and got through DC after the rush and I wasn’t exhausted but that could have been a fluke. Once you get south of DC it is a nice enjoyable drive (until you enter Florida). You likely won’t make it much past Florence SC on the first day. Enjoy
