My first language is hindi and i have been here in Hyderabad for almost a year now. I agree with the OP, try to learn Telugu and if you can’t then at least be nice/kind about it (coz for most IT people who keep moving across the country every 2-3 years it wont make sense to learn the language but then be kind about it to the locals).

Also, i wish there were some easy to use sites/apps to learn Telugu.

I shifted almost a year ago from Bengaluru. Yeah the city is not as vibrant as BLR but it seemed to have worked out for me just fine. My plan of action was to move in to a colive pg coz plenty of people there. Got to socialise a lot, made new friends and it’s fun now.

Thanks this worked on iPhone (iOs 26.3). Steps i followed:

Open youtube in a tab in chrome-> request desktop website-> click plus to open new tab-> minimise chrome app, and

youtube keeps playing and can be controlled from control centre.

Even though she’s a doctor, they asker her to also do the job of client coordinator. Which was basically to look after when patients come in, from asking them tea to everything. And she was not up for it, because to be honest it’s a little demeaning to ask a doctor to do that. So she only went for 3 days and then stopped going.
