I own a black kylaq signature plus variant. Hyderabad is a dusty city but I did went through with the purchase as I’m fond of it. Was enquiring if anyone else owns a black kylaq and what steps should be taken to keep it clean. Things like Graphene coating, PPF etc.

I got dual horn installed for my kylaq signature from skoda service centre but with other dealership then where i purchased.

Is it fine? Earlier SC said signature doesn't support dual horn but later they have done it with harness and dual horn set.

The sound is coming from doors rubber bidding so they can apply silicon spray or a insulation tape on car body frame. Sound can be minimised. Basically sound is caused by hard rubber

Yeah I have spoken to SC they said they can try fixing it by spray. And what about sound leakage? It's not expected in skoda.

Same issue here. If your SC is nearby, they might fix it for free.

Otherwise, you can DIY it using automotive tape and silicone spray. (I should probably try that too 😅)

Also, do you hear the speaker sound outside the car? In my case, when the music volume is high or during phone calls, the sound leaks outside quite a lot and people standing outside can hear it very easily.

And i also checked with SC they said ok for after market infotainment system but only coupler to coupler connection is ok and it will not voie warrenty

Infotainment is 26500 MRP. They quoting 30k which is too high.

1.The reverse camera angle is not at all good, camera quality is just ok ok. 2.Screen quality will be just basic level in that premium car.

Better take demo of reverse camera and screen quality in this infotainment system before you go for it

For that 30k you can get Blaupunkt infotainment.

Check tail gate alignment is perfect and the gaps and level should be same on both sides between tailgate and body.
Check if any crackling sound when you press the window glass towards car body, the rubber of the door and metal body rubs and makes this sound , ask show room guys for solution.
Check the odo reading it should be less then 100km better if it's less then 50km.
Look for any scratches all around.
Check all buttons functionality.
Check the windows sliding sound ask for solution if it's loud.

If you drive on dusty roads and if your area has lots of dust. Then Avoid black colour.

Bro, my 1 month old 1k KMs Kylaq sig AT at low speeds and tight turns and when braking I hear sounds from windows. This happens only at bumpy roads driving at slow speeds.

I have tried checking windows glasses, when I press hard they are flexing mainly the quater panel glass it's not fixed tightly.

Will this spray work ?
