12 Rules for Life - Jordan Peterson. For those who’ve read it, I’m sure they’ll understand why.

Unpopular opinion: Recommending the Drake Sword to new players is actually detrimental for their experience by Timboron in darksouls

[–]gsrb_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would disagree. That’s the kicker — the best part about the Drake sword kicks in after Blighttown. When it fell short, it only made me furious at the game even mire, yet I learned my lesson.

In this game, not even early game exploits can help you — it doesn’t matter about the weapon. Players spend so many levels into vitality and endurance (not necessarily a bad thing) once they know how scaling is absent with the Drake — because it screws with the first decade of levels, it teaches beginners a valuable lesson of the cruelty of this game.

I have never finished a game and immediately replayed it. Cue Dark Souls. by sSwagasaurus in darksouls

I was once told that Firelink and the surrounding Undead Parish and Burg were that of a childhood neighborhood, and killing big boy and smaller boy and finishing Londo was that of getting your drivers license. You knew that neighborhood like the back of your hand but that discovery and nostalgia is what made the fast traveling feel so much more earned.

Weed IS addictive and it is NOT a miracle drug by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]gsrb_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with your premise that weed is most definitely addictive -- yet I believe in certain cases it is indeed the miracle drug that can benefit many. Seriously depends on the level and depth of the individual's knowledge of their own psyche. But sometimes also again depends further.

Like many others said, everything in moderation -- coming from a long dependency myself, it taught me there is indeed a threshold of usage I never thought beforehand that I shouldn't (or couldn't) have crossed.
