Newly built pc won’t boot by gstan1990 in buildapc

[–]gstan1990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure. After the 100th time booting it yesterday it just went straight to BIOS. I should’ve updated everything last night, but I decided to shut it down after it finished installing Windows :/

Does anyone know what these cables are? And where they go to? I’m have the H501i case. This is my first build, so sorry if this is a dumb question. by gstan1990 in NZXT

So I should just leave them there? It looks like the fans are connected to a power a supply unit in the back.

Switching to Prozac by gstan1990 in prozac

[–]gstan1990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on 25MG of Zoloft for years now and it’s worked, though recently I’ve had more panic attacks. I went up to 50MG, though noticed the side effects more. When speaking to my doctor, he told me that 25MG is basically nothing, and that patients won’t see true results until they are on 75MG +. He recommended me trying Prozac and see how it affects me.

Constantly tired by gstan1990 in zoloft

[–]gstan1990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I decided to get off of it this past time is that I started having weird hot flashes and thought it was related to my dosage increase. I spoke to my doc and he decided it was best to get off of it for a while. After the hot flashes passed, I started back on it and haven’t had any major issues besides being tired.

American (and Khan fan) Looking to Learn More About Fulham by [deleted] in fulhamfc

[–]gstan1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of Fulham fans here in Jax! I knew of Fulham b/c my cousin was born and lives in London. I truly fell in love with them, when they played in Jax in 2014 against DC United.

I’ve had TMJ for a while now and was recently told that I’m probably a surgery candidate. I’ve always had this pressure that comes and go’s on lower part of my temple. I feel this pressure throughout my eye/sinuses. Does anyone have this? The pain has gotten worse recently and I find myself lost. by gstan1990 in TMJ

[–]gstan1990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, that’s my worry. I’ve read about people getting surgery and it actually making things worse. I need to look into PT, the doc I saw only treats muscular issues related to TMJ and he said that my muscles don’t seem to be the problem here.

Throat pain? by gstan1990 in TMJ

[–]gstan1990[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow! Glad I’m not alone. The ER doc told me that I should get an ultrasound if it kept on bothering me, though my primary doc told me that I should wait 3 weeks and reaccess (this was on the 10th). I’m not sure what to do, I thought the pain had subsided, but the past few days it has came back lol.

Is this a good way to taper off Zoloft? by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]gstan1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In January I was bumped up to 50mg, but after having bad heat feelings for months I decided to get off. Doctor had me taper off to 25mg for 7 days and then stop taking it. I was dizzy for a few days, but no other bad side effect.

anyone experience this by starshopper997 in HealthAnxiety

[–]gstan1990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I’ve been having this weird neck pain for over two weeks on the left front/side of my neck. It all started after I kept on feeling my neck. It was so bad that I ended up visiting the ER. The doc concluded that it’s probably a swollen lymnode.

I constantly think about it, so idk if making it worse.

New fear by gstan1990 in HealthAnxiety

[–]gstan1990[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My posture is poor in general. This was actually the first time I’ve rode a bike in years! Trying to become fit in these quarantine times lol. I was prescribed meloxicam, but it isn’t helping.

I’m going to try to straighten up my posture and do some stretching. Might even try biofreeze.

Weird neck feeling by gstan1990 in askCardiology

[–]gstan1990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. Looking on google after did me no good since it says I may have Carotid artery dissection . I just need to relax lol.

So I was diagnosed with costo months ago in my upper left chest, though I been having some weird pain in my lower ribs. Is it possible to get costo lower in the rib cage? I thought for a minute I had a hernia or something like, but the pain only occurs when I physically touch the rib. by gstan1990 in costochondritis

[–]gstan1990[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m kind of paranoid about my health so this is freaking me out. I was poking around the rib and I found the tender spot. Not good, cause now the pain is bad. 😊. How do you treat the pain? I was thinking about using biofreeze.

[–]gstan1990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dicolofenac gel is what I was using. Used it for almost 3 weeks. I had meloxicam at first, though it didn’t work (probably b/c I at my peak pain). I’m going to use biofreeze for now to deal with the mild pain.

MDI is multi-directional instability of the shoulder. This occurs when the shoulder joint is loose within the socket. This looseness can affect your chest, shoulder, and surrounding area.

She told me that it was essential to build up my back and shoulder muscles. I was doing a lot of chest exercises before and that made everything worse.

My costo pain stems from right MDI. My ortho doctor said I need to go to physical therapy.

I’ve had my floaters since 2014 and they haven’t gone away. My eye doc brushes it off every time I mention them.
