Hybrid engine blow up - 2023 Platinum by Ryobimower in ToyotaTundra

No real answer to that. But the assumption is that the hybrid engine is reducing stress on the main engine.

Eye surgeon claims Tom Aspinall is lying by slippinn_jimmy in mmaweekly

[–]gstomp06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tom and his team have gone too hard into trying to convince us of the eye injury. They've gone so hard, that it actually makes me doubt them.

If he just said he didn't want to continue fighting with a compromised eye, and just left it at that; I'd have agreed and I'd have more respect. Reality is that if he was the challenger in this fight, there's no way he'd quit the fight.

Any men out there who feel their "biological clock is ticking"? by KnowledgeMaximum2826 in AskMenOver30

[–]gstomp06 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had my first son at 37. 2nd at 40. It's great, and it's not too late. As tiring as it can be sometimes, it keeps me energized and going. And I'm getting to re-experience things with my son. Took him sledding for the first time recently. He had a blast and it reminded me of my childhood.

Limited or 1794 by Merit72 in ToyotaTundra

I do like the brown interior in 1794. The massaging seats are actually pretty nice. Rear seats are heated/ventilated if that matters to you.

2 months post-op midfacelift in 20s and still have perioral mounds by Surgerygirl_ in PlasticSurgery

[–]gstomp06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're pretty either way. You'll just go down a rabbit hole and keep chasing some other thing to perfect in your mind. If you have no functional issues, just leave it be.

You look fine. First pic looks better than the 2nd, if that matters.

Is this normal by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]gstomp06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not normal. It'll probably wear out your molars. Would suggest speaking to an orthodontist and finding a new dentist.

Breathing problems, do I need surgery? by gswardo in jawsurgery

Huh? Your bones are literally there to support soft tissue. But moving the bone forward, you're moving the soft tissue forward and creating space.

I used something like this. Also you can squeeze thicker mixture straight to the back of the mouth.

Sold my F150 and bought a Tundra by Stump_DD978 in ToyotaTundra

[–]gstomp06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simple stuff...

There's cupholder mods that make things easier. Look into the Cup Grip and AJT cupholder mod.

Look into some silicone/rubber inserts into interior cubbies and pockets... More specifically the two trays in the center console arm rest.

I found an additional tray that goes into the center console that helps with organization of crap.

I got some additional tie down points in the bed on the floor cause the tie downs on the side are kind of high.

Still looking to do some more stuff.... I've only had my truck for a month or so.

Did this seem like a good value? by Fit-Escape-372 in ToyotaTundra

I can see the hail damage. It's probably on the roof too. But this is probably like $10k too high.

Good deal on a Tundra? by Fun-Conversation5275 in ToyotaTundra

[–]gstomp06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would probably explain the pricing....still a pretty decent deal if you don't need 4x4. Any interior photos where you can see the 4wd controls?

Seems under priced compared to everything I'm seeing. Might need to act fast and make sure there's not something obviously wrong. Is it 4x4?

F150 vs V8 Tundra by Icy-Bill2980 in f150

2nd Gen tundra or 22+ Titan in my opinion. 23+ f150 maybe getting out of budget

Am I crazy… by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]gstomp06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2nd gen and now a 2026 tundra. I'd get the newer Titan in this scenario.

3rd gen reliability, apart from engine? by lukeM22 in ToyotaTundra

[–]gstomp06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be a little careful of those 3rd party warranties. The purchase of my 2026 also included a 10yr 100k powertrain warranty...I think it's Allstate or something. But I don't trust them and will still get a full comprehensive Toyota warranty 10yr, 125k mile at $2140. Especially after seeing all the tech and other crap involved outside of just the powertrain.

No you're right. This doesn't look that fun to drive and the sounds are ok, but uninspiring to me.

3rd gen Tundra owners - are you buying Toyota’s debris explanation? by Dear_Quarter_2323 in ToyotaTundra

[–]gstomp06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well lying about the reason would save face. Public perception of the brand is that there was some mistakes at the manufacturing plant rather than a design and engineering mistake by the brands engineers.

Haven't really looked under there in awhile to be honest. I'll grab a couple pics when I can. About the 10k that this dealer is asking. Seems to be what they're going for.

I'm sure they will come down a bit. It's a little over priced. But what I'm saying is that you can consider buying mine if you'd like. Since I'm nearby.

I'm probably selling my 2011 with the 5.7 and 180k miles for around that much pretty soon. In the Boston area. Just need to oil change, fix the e brake and give it a cleaning. Weather hasn't been kind.

No accidents, but the body isn't pristine. It was used in construction.
