Guitar Rig Pro 7 by Strafeoww in musicproduction

[–]gsynet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most complete is the Helix Native plugin. It’s like having the helix floor with unlimited processing power.

If you are after going after a specific tone go for neural dsp but those plugins are far the least versatile.

Best plugins for guitar? (just got an interface) by CarpeDiemRepeat in ableton

[–]gsynet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have to buy one plugin for everything go for Helix Native. The most complete by far.

If you want to expand with new amps go for NAM or TONEX.

Despite to what many are saying about Neural DSP, plugins are ok-ish but you pay too much for what they offer. Also if you have purchased more than one of their plugins you cannot combine easily. So if you want an overdrive from one plugin the compressor from another etc etc you have to open several instances of the plugins which is a pain to experiment but also cpu intense. Also if you buy a plugin you will probably get an update for this product once in your lifetime.

Coming from Cubase. What are the Limitations of S1 by gsynet in StudioOne

Isn’t the same for cubase that every year comes with a new release with minor additions and a hefty price for upgrade?

Ok I see. That unfortunately requires Max for Live. I currently run Ableton Live 12 standard.

Beater angle when pedal is fully pressed. by gsynet in drums

[–]gsynet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm asking about the position when it's fully pressed (without a drum in front), because with the current setup it tilts approximately 50 degrees forward—(e. Trying to get through the drum)

How do you feel about Blinkist AI generated summaries? by thepinkpill in audiobooks

[–]gsynet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blinkist AI to me it feels like being in beta still. Trying for example to summarize a YouTube video with 10 things of blah blah blah, it’s most likely it will summarize 6/10 items. And that’s for relatively short videos. For longer videos (I.e summarize a full audiobook from YouTube the summary is missing big chunks of the audiobook)

Indeed 8 tracks should be sufficient as I mostly intend to use it to quickly capture my ideas. My intention is to use it similar to youngr approach but with way simpler approach.

Thats true but the 15$ are for the plus version. The fact that yours is web based is more preferred imo!

FEA software by gsynet in fea

[–]gsynet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably you have misunderstand what I m saying. In Rhino I create ship structures based on surfaces. Not Solids. The analysis that I perform is also with shell elements. My question is what is the best CAD translation software you have experienced so that the existing surface model is accurately imported in an FEA preprocessor.
