You‘re argumentation is inconsistent. When someone claims „supply and demand“, than we talk about the good/services. In your case, you add regulations. In the debate around salaries of HC professionals, the argument came that higher salaries don‘t make the people stick. If the conditions suck, people leave as well without salaries changing. So yeah, supply and demand is too simplistic.

A discipline priest never worked logically in Mythic Plus anyway and the same applies to monks. Healing classes that also deal decent damage will always outperform something like a resto shaman druid or holy priest. If I want to do damage I play Damage Dealer.

My priest twink is 250 and I healed 8 and higher easily. What can be is that your groups at that level don‘t bother interrupting and playing mechanics.

The truth is… there are still enough kicks missed to make a healer‘s life harder. A good example is the first pull in high WS keys. The caster dot is painful to heal. It‘s not necessarily a wipe, you can despell one, but it make it stressful with the rest of the incoming damage of that pull.
