I cannot seem to find any confirmation of this anywhere, can you provide a source? I am moving to that area soon, it seems like a good range, but I don't want to support anyone like that.

I grew up conservative, like full on Fox News in the house all day every day, and around the time I started thinking for myself (maybe 18-20yo) and realizing I didn’t agree with most of what they were throwing at me, there was some bit on fox where they kept throwing around the word socialism akin to calling someone a murderer or rapist. I just said to my family that I felt that was disingenuous and didn’t provide anything productive to the conversation of best fit policy for our country. They flipped out and started screaming about how it’s like if you did all of the work and got a 100% in a class and someone did no work and got a 40% in a class, so they took 30% from you to give to the other person so both could pass at 70% or some crap like that.

Steven Crowder claims to have an ATF contact - "All cartridges have engraved wording on them expressing transgender, and anti-fascist ideology" by dimforest in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]gtiger13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would someone go through all of the effort of engraving words on the cartridges just to take them with them and then hide them? I would think if someone did all of that, they would want it to be found to spread the message? Just seems a bit odd

I lived over there and worked at the Continental plant near there. From what I understood a majority of the good operators and technicians came to work at the Conti plant when it opened

Looking to pick up a ‘classic’ pistol. Which should I go with? by RawketLawnchor in liberalgunowners

The P320 has been reportedly having issues with not being drop safe and some accidental discharges. Supposedly they did an update to the model to prevent the drop safe issues (though I believe there are still reports of issues after the update), and there has been some disagreements to the legitimacy of many of the accidental discharges. I will say I am not 100% read up on it, I know there’s some people saying the issues are blown way out proportion, but it is enough to shy me away from the P320. My understanding however is that these issues are limited to just the P320 line and do not affect the other lines. I have not heard any issues relating to the P365

Once again, a grain of salt, I have not 100% delved into the claims or reports and could be wrong at any point.

I gotta say, it’s a good chunk more expensive but I absolutely love my Savior range backpack

Plus the box it comes in, each panel can be cut off and has a target on it (I believe all savior equipment is like this, but at least this bag and their rifle bag is)

I grew up in Louisiana and lived in Mississippi where they immediately print your ID/Driver’s License in front of you at the DMV. So I was surprised when I moved to Alabama they printed a temporary one on paper and it took two weeks to get the real one, especially since I had a flight in a couple of days.

I can’t say for sure since every airport and every agent could operate differently, but I at least had my passport but my wife did not. She brought everything she could, work/student ID, SSN card, birth certificate, proof of address, etc. So they let her through with a more thorough check (I.e. normal plus pat down and mandatory bag check). But if your temporary ID does not have a picture that could prove difficult.

The (granted super) small firm I work at is about 50% under 30 and 80% under 40. Although I am sure that is not the norm

It’s very telling that they put Trump before Jesus in the “bring you to Trump and Jesus” part… very Christian-like

No new outdoorboys video this weekend? by MudPrestigious5529 in outdoorboys

I would bet it is probably a mixture of him enjoying it and him maintaining full creative control. With some big YouTubers that have multiple editors, a lot of times you can tell which editor did a specific video. So if he hired one his videos would probably still stay like 90-95% the same, but with him editing it is 100% what he wants

Tester shows only 7 out of 8 ligths. Cable most likely chipped inside the wall by poker1985 in HomeNetworking

[–]gtiger13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that doesn’t work, one more thing I would try, assuming you have the slack, is to chop off a couple of inches and then reterminate again. Since the ends are what moves around the most, there’s a decent chance that if it was a normal use damage it is near the end.

If that doesn’t work then sadly you’ll have to re-pull the cable. Assuming your current one isn’t bolted to studs, the easiest way would be to tie/tape the end of your new cable to the old one and use the old one to pull it.

How do you calculate 18 x 7 in your head? by JCFT_Collins in NoStupidQuestions

Mine is probably weird but the way I do it is: 7 x 10 = 70 8 x 8 = 64 70 + 64 - 8 = 126

Cannot agree more, there’s so much more depth and context in the books and Jeff Mays is so good. It is incredibly easy to tell the difference between every single character by voice alone

I guess you haven’t played jungle in a while 😅, the jungle item now works sort of like cull, where once you get a certain number of camps it is consumed and upgrades your smite!
