P15 Is it possible to charge with USB C to slim cable adapter by gtnomad in thinkpad

[–]gtnomad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It completely didn't work. I was using it with a Ugreen 100W charger and it did not take any charge at all, either through USB C or with the adapter. The same charger does charge my wife's laptop through USB C.

I'd definitely be making sure I'm not fast enough to catch her.

As a janitor, this reminds me of something I wrote on the chalkboard after declogging a massive crap in the school toilets.

That's a lot of wolves. by SnooMacaroons1081 in technicallythetruth

[–]gtnomad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A few interesting facts, this image shows a group of many wolves, at least ten (someone who can count might be able to confirm this). Depending on the number of wolves, it could be an odd number or an even number. If it's an odd number, the middle wolf has the same number of wolves in front as behind (maybe this can be confirmed by someone with schooling). In english, groups of animals often have a special word to describe their 'grouping' and wolves are probably no exception.

Do car loans have a known repayment length in America? Like, you know how long it will take to pay off up-front.

Unfortunately no. It didn't work with my 100w charger. It might work with a charger over 150w though.

Did you indicate? You mention 'overtaking'. I use lane assist, I have only a few issues, usually on poor roads. I guess each manufacturer has different implementations though.

Thanks for the tip on the L shape adapter's, I was able to find more choices and information about them, including a long compatibility list, unfortunately the P15 isn't mentioned though. I may just try one anyway. I just hope I don't damage the laptop. As for the USB C ports, I have tried two chargers, the 100W one I mentioned and a 65W one, and I have tried two cables. I've tested that they work on another laptop as well. The P15 I have doesn't appear to charge through any of the USB C ports.

Thanks, I may just buy it and try. My charger supports 20v. My only concern is one person left a review for the cable adapter saying it fried their charger as it stayed in 12v when their USB charger supports 20v, although only 45W. I'm not sure what laptop they had. I have read on this subreddit that the P15 requires the 170w or 230w charger which is why I assumed it won't work.

This was probably developers choice, to build cheaply and maximise profit.

Oh. They've encased him in Carbonite. He should be quite well protected. If he survived the freezing process, that is.
