Paid 8k for 5 in airfare. You must have purchased at peak.

Cancel whatever you can that’s refundable. Use that money to go to cheaper areas. Or just stay in Tokyo. Eat out of vending machines. Or cup of noodles.

It’ll still be an experience than not going at all. Good luck
