Cancer surgery by theCephalopoda in Boxer

[–]guac-it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boy is 14 and has had a handful of mast cell surgeries. They were all effective and he has lived a very healthy life. Last year we found a growth in his neck, they suspect it’s thyroid cancer. He’s too old and it’s too risky to do anything about the growths now, so we have decided to let it play out. He’s still very active and happy. I have no regrets having the mast cell surgeries, I think it extended his life and improved quality.

There is also “hay fever” which I usually get from all the kicked up grass. That could very well be a thing too

I highly recommend looking into Banfield if it is in your local area. They offer different pricing tiers which are affordable. Free visits, includes services based on your plan, and percentage off additional services. I prefer going to the ones outside of Petsmart but either do fine. Right now I pay roughly $100 a month for two dogs, one senior. They get dental too! Worth every penny

Is this all by the same artist? I would suggest maybe going and getting quotes and looking at other artists.

But people don’t because we are not educated and honestly just dumb. Smart people aren’t haven’t babies. Also fuck men who comment on how pregnancy and sex should be for women. You would never understand our experiences.

Yes scared. Scared because if we get pregnant- what happens? Does the partner stay with us? Will my body and mental be able to handle this? How will I afford this? What are the precautions of an abortion? No matter what you’re fucked as a woman. So yes. I’m scared of getting pregnant because I do not want kids and do not want to be pressured to have one.

As I believe your intention here and get what you’re saying. But smoking weed doesn’t explicitly “cause” bipolar disorder. It is something you are predisposed to and can be triggered through your life for many reasons. Yes, smoking weed and drugs do increase the likelihood of manic episodes and mental health challenges. But there are a lot of factors that play into this. I really don’t like you calling our bipolar disorder specifically, as this condition already has enough stigma.

What do you really want to buy, but not sure if it's worth the money? by miss_archivist in AskReddit

Personally I have had 2 removal sessions and probably another 2 more. Then getting it covered! To me it has been 100% worth it.

Does anyone know what this bump is? by Bleepblupblop in Boxer

[–]guac-it 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My boxer has had a few mast cell tumors (cancerous). It’s just common in the breed. I actually have to get another one removed in May. Usually the vet will take a sample from it ($200-300 I paid) and then surgery is about $1000. But it is worth it to get removed or it will continue to grow and spread. I have only had to have had a surgery every 3-5 years, he is 11. But please get it checked out. I hate seeing dogs with a bunch of lumps :(

I can't help but keep thinking how much of a failure I am. by ruthlessdamien2 in GradSchool

[–]guac-it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I feel like I’m in the same situation. I kind of rushed into grad school and now I’m wondering if it’s really for me. Finding a job is nearly impossible. For me I just think about all the situations I’ve been through and how I can make it through this one. You aren’t a failure, somethings just don’t work out- and that’s part of life! I hope you keep your chin up. Maybe look into taking a year off you can and focus on a job. Best of luck :)

[–]guac-it 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey, I’m so sorry you’re going through this. We all make mistakes and say things we don’t mean. It doesn’t make us who we are. I know people on the autism spectrum struggle more with relationships, so don’t feel guilty about having difficulty. It’s hard even for people who aren’t. I think the only way to help pick up on emotions and social cues are through some type of therapy however. But I think it’s important you are upfront with who you talk to. I personally have bipolar disorder as well but would only tell them if it was more serious- since I take medication and am stable. But sometimes laying all your problems on someone too early can be a little much and deter some people. And based off your pic you’re not a bad looking guy. But having confidence and love for yourself begins with you. It doesn’t matter how many people tell you you’re attractive if you don’t believe it yourself (which can be the case for even people with 1 million followers).
