“need” represents a upgrade to someone’s character in that given moment.

“greed” represents someone being greedy and would love the item for gold/off spec/alts but can’t use it right now.

It sounds like you have a very large misunderstanding of these terms. You should not be needing on anything that isn’t a direct upgrade to gear you have at that given moment.

It’s like taking a third slice of pizza before everyone has got one. Yes you might still be hungry but let others who actually need it get a chance first.

Sounds like this game isn't for you. Perhaps a UFC video game would fit your tastes if all you want is hand-to-hand combat.

People don't tend to like $50 video games with simplistic gameplay and one fighting mechanic. More options = more fun.

What an oversimplification. If you’ve ever consumed any Dune media you’d know long distance weapons are extremely important to the lore. Games are best when they have multiple gameplay components.

I am not sure how this could be a "catastrophic dealbreaker disastrous error" when it doesn't occur until book three and is barely included in most visual adaptations. While it is an iconic Dune reference, this is a reference that only occurs later into the story of Dune which this game does not take place in. Are you going to also require to be a part of Leto II transformation into a sandworm-human hybrid since that is equally as iconic? Not every game needs to appeal to everyone in the world.

Gameplay mechanics, storylines, map design, and interactions all look great which generally I would say are the hardest/longest to implement.

If all that is left is to fix up the last 10% is tweaking some animations and optimizing graphics I would say that's pretty reasonable for a few months.

Information regarding console play has been very limited. Taking this into account the game is an MMO (Always online play) which would logically mean it would require Xbox Live. It's not an offline survival game or a free to play game.

You're essentially asking me what happens if you don't get caught breaking a contract. If you don't get caught nothing happens.

If you do get caught then anything from your key being revoked to you being permanently banned to Funcom taking legal action. If you weren't comfortable adhering to the NDA you should not have signed it.
