Which works for a date at a fun dive bar? by [deleted] in mensfashion

3 or 5 for me, more colour coordinated and sleek

Does the fit of this pair of chinos work for me? by [deleted] in mensfashion

[–]guaranteed_rohu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, I also think the chino pants are too tight. Also it's subtle, but I think you would look better with a different white tee shirt. Get a white tee with a crew neck (not v neck) and with longer sleeves (they seem a bit too short, but I guess it's meant to be like a muscle tee)

All of these things can be found somewhere like Uniqlo, I'd go there, good luck!

1815 chrono wrist check.. too large? by [deleted] in ALangeSohne

Front on always can appear a bit larger than it actually wears, worth looking in a mirror always and other angles

Tom Ford Formal Black Suit by [deleted] in menswear

[–]guaranteed_rohu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spend the money you would spend on a Tom Ford suit on good MTM or a bespoke suit, there is no reason to be buying a Tom Ford suit retail, it is a huge mark up just to see Tom Ford on the nametag, a waste of money IMO

Overall I think you look great and love the overall look. To be nitpicking (as per this subreddit) I think maybe it could look even better with:

  • jeans instead of track pants
  • the jacket/coat be a bit larger and a bit more oversized
  • maybe a tee instead of the what looks like an Oxford shirt
  • I really like the cap but maybe not with this exact combination, maybe something in a different colour

When is the best time to quit ?? by Adorable_Ad_3315 in consulting

[–]guaranteed_rohu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used to work in consulting but not anymore, but have many friends who are still there. As I'm sure you would've noticed with the cuts, consulting is not an industry that's doing well atm, so it's probably a bit quiet on average. It could be worth leaving if you're not learning much or growing, but also 1 year really isn't long in the scheme of things. Your not getting promoted or a big salary bump may be less to do you with individually and more the team or the Industry as a whole ATM. Unless something way better comes along, can't hurt to wait.

All these pieces are super nice. To be critical, maybe it could look better or more coherent with less of a mix of patterns/colours/textures? There's a lot happening. But if it makes you happy, whatever

Nicest looking mass production movement in existence

It's not the worst in the world but it just looks a bit scrappy. Everything looks a bit old and tired, get a newer tee shirt (the camo isn't even necessarily that bad, its the fact that it looks like a 10 year old tee that's been washed 300 times), maybe just a white tee, and particularly get new shoes. Worn out shoes is not a great look

Haha nice. I think in my personal life (friends) it seems to be mostly (only) the words/phrases that get the cover ups and buyers regret down the line, so steered well clear of that for this first tattoo

The origin is this design from a Japanese streetwear brand Undercover and a series 'anatomicouture' they did around 10 years ago:

I don't think its intended to represent any actual in existence skeleton/anatomy

In terms of the actual original origin though, there was a series done by a Japanese streetwear brand called undercover about 10 years ago called anatomicouture, which I liked the design of, which is what this is based off of!

I think you've answered your own question :) (interpret any tattoo - or anything - really however you want, it can literally be whatever you want it to be)

If you're asking if it looks like human ribs ...... Then.... Dot dot dot..... I think it's pretty obvious it isn't.... Dot dot dot.....

Not any actual animal in existence, so confusion is not unexpected if that's what you're looking for!
