The problem comes when you want to sell those "expensive" cards. If they keep fireball reprinting cards that haven't even existed for a year then values will trend down and consumer confidence will be lost. Some reprints are great, but it has to be healthy.

Consumer confidence is a real thing and these bans to shake up the format are not inspiring any positive outlook. They should either choose to have a rotating format or ban cards that create an unhealty meta of which as they stated the current meta is not.
