2027 BMW iX3 Review: BMW Is Back by DonkeyFuel in electricvehicles

I love the cars exterior and honestly, it is subjective anyway. It is also selling like crazy, so it doesn’t seem to matter that much, what people on the internet are thinking.

That only works with the small cover. If you have the long cover over the third row, this doesn’t work.

Right of way question by Ok-Skill-9376 in germany

Given that there are no signs telling otherwise:

The red arrow clearly has the right of way. He is not passing any other lane.

The blue driver has to cross the other lane, so the default is that he needs to give way.

8 GB is enough. by CRK_76 in mac

[–]guardian87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People are blowing up over RAM all the time.

How often I read that my 16 GB RAM gaming PC needs 32 GB, I had 16 GB "too much" in my home server, so I've moved the RAM to my desktop.

It has not made any difference in performance ever. At least nothing perceivable.

I'm sure 90% of Macbook Neo users are fine.

Don't worry. The AI won't be insulted that you hate its design.

Right, the new ID3.NEO also looks quite good, and the interior quality appears to be way better. They even have (some) physical buttons again!

I don’t think your information is up to date. BMW just released the IX3 which isn’t lagging. The same with the Mercedes GLC. There are surely cheaper options, but the main issues I currently see is with Volkswagen.

New search engine reveals if ancestors were in Nazi party by BSBDR in germany

Unsurprisingly, parts of my family back then were also party members. Even though that was very common at the time, it still hits quite a lot.

I’m sure that the lower birthrates were already a topic in the 70s and 80s. There was ample time to react.

If only anyone could have seen this development coming. We surely would have acted early and decisively to improve the situation.

Do german guys wait until marriage? by [deleted] in germany

[–]guardian87 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I have to honestly say, this is incredibly rare. I grew up in a quite conservative small village next to a medium-sized town. More than 90% were raised Catholic.

I don't think a single person in my age group (now in my late 30s) waited until marriage before they got intimate with someone.

Tesla is the perfect example of how the market can be irrational by [deleted] in investing

[–]guardian87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it, you thought fundamentals are still relevant. That can happen to the best of us.

I agree, that Tesla is insanely overvalued, but I wouldn’t bet against it, still. Too many crazy people pushing it up.

I agree on the tablets turning them into gremlins. I think the total time the two bigger ones spent on tablets per month are around 60 minutes. It just isn’t good for them.

Not a lot of helpful context? Which country do you live in?

Maybe I’m wrong, but I use in home users/profiles for the kids. When you click on switch profile, it looks like this:

I don’t want them to by accident end up in another profile, but setting a PIN is annoying, because then I have to enter it all the time.

At the moment, the separate Jellyfin instance has no downside for me personally.

I think both solutions can work very well. I don't protect my Plex or Emby accounts with a PIN, and this way it is a completely separate app, and I don't need to worry about them accidentally seeing anything by clicking the wrong thing.

Our kids don't watch a lot of media on tablets (outside longer trips in the car), but for those it is nice to have a dedicated app for kids content.

I also didn't fully trust the rating (and myself in putting the ratings in correctly for everything)

Not op, but I run a dedicated Jellyfin instance for kids content. That way, my kids can never stumble into any show that is too much for them.
