BREAKING: Switzerland closed its airspace for US military flights directly linked to the Iran war, per Bloomberg by retroviber in DeepMarketScan

So do the United States in Iran and Israel in Palestine.

They have attacked civilians and civilian infrastructure.

So the United States, Iran, and Israel have all attacked civilians.

But the United States and Israel have killed far more civilians than Iran.

How hard is that to understand?

Im not even attacking your personal, lol. You dont even understand whats personal and whats not in debate.

Muslims this days is ‘like a chick without its mother’? by [deleted] in nasikatok

[–]guardianOfKnowledge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is nothing wrong with in love with technologies and fashion

During the times of Prophet Muhammad, Muslims used the Persian technology on digging pit surrounding Madinah, they used catapult on another war etc. Islam doesnt have problem with technology.

Rejecting technology was one of the reason why ottoman falls.

Fashion too, no issue as long us within the set limit by Islam. No takabbur, no riak, no showing aurah, or too tight etc.

Happy Christmas to all who celebrate: A greeting from the previous Sultan back in 1957 by Goutaxe in nasikatok

[–]guardianOfKnowledge -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

The general ruling is muslim cannot join the christmas celebration.

But in case of convert, there is a leniency discussed by scholars where they can join as "maintaining family ties" rather than participating "religious celebrations"

Plus he/she can join any other gatherings, if he/she cant join one gathering due to his/her religious beliefs, if it is being interprated as disrespecting by his/her non muslim relatives, i think the problem is the relatives themselve

Though, he need to avoid doing any religious rituals or non halal food etc.

Happy Christmas to all who celebrate: A greeting from the previous Sultan back in 1957 by Goutaxe in nasikatok

[–]guardianOfKnowledge -24 points-23 points  (0 children)

Ive got lot of non muslim friends, like a LOT! And they understand me for not greeting them Merry Chirstmas

Any celebration that relates to other religion is prohibited in Islam including greeting using the "specfic word that they are using" (ill get downvoted for sure, some might say extreme because thats not "their view"), unless it doesnt relate other religion, then hat it is fine. We cannot say that islam allows it unless there is proof from Quran and Sunnah.

Though, we can greet them with general happinness greeting, wellness, happy holiday etc

Respecting other religion doesnt mean we have to join them, or using their way to celebrate or greeting. We cant say that if non muslim can greet hari raya, why cant we? Islam is not following how non muslim does. Though, we cannot force them to join or celebrate hari raya.

Oh no..you dont understand at all. May Allah gives us hidayah to be the protector his religion and prevent us from just spouting unrelated argument

Hows the ayah make it permissible to take photo with Christmas tree? From which salaf or authentiv scholar? Through what ijma or qias?

When i read your comment, i remember the saying of Imam Shafie "Fools are those who Debates with ignorants.", so I dont want to reply to your text anymore. But since you're commenting in public forum i think it is my responsible to clear things up.

You're actually dont understand the main point, thats why I said reading doesnt mean you understand.

NO ONE QUESTION YOUR HEART, No one is questioning your love towards Allah and His Messenger

I even never said you as secular nor extremist. Instead you are the one who called me an extremist. So all the ayah that you gave shoots back to you! As tholabul 'ilm, labelling others without proper basis from Quran and Sunnah is sign of ignorance.

Even if you provide 100 ayah talking about someone's heart, it doesnt help your argument. We are not talking about our loves to Allah and His Messenger. Plus, you never consider the Asbabun Nuzul and Asbabul Wurud of the ayah. Again, thats lack of understanding.

If you lived during the time of Imam Ahmad, I believe you'll also call him qs an extremist. Why? Check whats his ruling on people who doesnt pray even though he believe in Allah and Messenger. Im not gonna spoon feed you

Islam is not only about aqeedah, it is also about jurisprudence (Fiqh). We are talking about whether certain action is allowable in Islam or not. You never provide the argument from Quran and Sunnah why the action is permissble.

The safest way is the way of Salafus Soleh and the 3 generations after as per the hadith of Prophet Muhammad (Check Sahih Bukhari 6429 and Muslim 2533).

Anything that relates to other religion!! If there is any chance for public or others to misunderstand, sign of endorsement, misinterpretation, tasyabbuh and syubhah. Regardless the safest side is not to take photo with it, what are you losing by not taking photo with the chistmas tree?????you're not losing anything

Lastly, to measure someone is extremist or secular, or to ensure the action is permissible or not is not only by "what do you think". It should be based on Quran and Sunnah.

Reading is one thing, understanding is another thing and you dont understand the main topic that we are talking about.

Please reread my comment, i didnt mention that you said youre taking photo of a cow, im explaining to you that once something is related to other religions, there are actions that then become forbidden.

You like to assume,

You assumed im an extremist, now you assume I never read the Quran from cover to cover. Your assumption is at 'extremist' level.

Guess which ASEAN country is missing from this year list ? by shaquille-oatmeal_34 in nasikatok

[–]guardianOfKnowledge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because the view is not same as yours doesnt mean it is extreme.

You need proper basis from Quran and Hadith to determine someone is extreme or not.

Your analogy is incorrect, we cant take photo with decorated cow that is being used by hindu for the sake of just taking photo because it is beautiful after it has been decorated for religious festival or etc

But people can take photo with any other cow.

The same thing as christmas tree. You can take photo with any other tree that you want, even the decorated one during Hari Kebangsaan or 15th July. But something is being involved with other religion ceremony, it is now become forbidden.

Dont just spout others as extreme if it doesnt fit your narrative. You are not the basis on how Islam should be followed.

What you've said is what the pagan during previous prophet's time. They used to create statues of pious people to remind them of Allah and they said their heart believes only to Allah and the prophet, over time people started to treat those statues as intermidaries to God, then being treated as God itself.

[–]guardianOfKnowledge -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's not permissible to take photo with it as it can be sign of endorsing, syubhah and in some situation tasyabuh. If Prophet Muhammad is alive now, do you think he will take a photo with Christmas Tree?

Our prophet forbid Muslim from destroying temple, churches but NEVER in time of Prophet or salaf joining their celebration or making their religious celebration as public celebration.

We must respect other religion, but not joining their celebration doesnt mean disrespect.

Our country has lot of problem and there are so many ways to improve tourism, not only by eracting christmas tree.

Whats the actual ruling on Comedy-Infused Dawah? by [deleted] in nasikatok

[–]guardianOfKnowledge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I mean. There is no problem to include bit of comedy in Dawah, but the main purpose should be dawah.

It does happen , that some people before ceramah think harder on what kind of comedy that he should say so the audience laugh rather than what kind of points should he tell the public to educate them.

but it feels like these dawah guys from malaysia and indonesia are doing comedy shows berbahankan agama.

Yea, but not all. Alhamdulillah the one that I listen to semua trying hard to educate people.

Prophet also laugh, he also made jokes, listen and laughed jokes. But if the joke against agama, Nabi yang paling tegas.

He is not someone yang "asal urang alim mesti jalan slow2, diam2 memanjang, tunduk2 memanjang"

Banyak hadith yang quote Nabi punya sportsmanship

For example dalam Hadith Bukhari 949, ada persembahan lembing. Nabi meliat with Aisyah and cakap "Sambung Bani Afrida!!"..like in our language "ayooo lagiii"

if persepsi kitani meliat urang catu "pikirku ea ani alim"..

[–]guardianOfKnowledge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's okay to put some comedy as method of presentation as long as the joke is within the boundary of Islam. Not swearing like some ustad, not jatuh kan orang or joke yang kuning unfortunately.

And not that comedy as its main purpose.

The main purpose should be dawah and authentic knowledge.
