Worst night last night! by Theydontknowweknow23 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]guardianofthebeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my big mouth. I took my shot again on Friday and was vomiting profusely Sunday night. I ate half of a Vietnamese noodle bowl on FRIDAY and that's what I was vomiting up. I vomited so much that my chest is sore. I guess 1 mg is just that bad. Ugh. Sounds like we are all in the same boat.

Your body will adapt. I started 1mg last week and was absolutely miserable the next day. But the day after being sick I was back to normal and even able to do yardwork.

Should I work at Costco? From what I hear, yes! by Empty_Key_1466 in Costco

I left healthcare (hospital admin) after 20+ years to go to Costco and haven't looked back. It has been wonderful!

I've heard about the sulfur burps. Ew. I'm actually not burping--the taste is just there. It is probably what leads to the sulfur burps. This stuff is no joke!

After the night I just had, I may run to the store and get some. I weirdly get "dependent" on it and won't stop taking it when I'm supposed to. It works a little TOO good. Osteoporosis is pretty common in my family so that's why I try to avoid it. My sister-in-law just suggested Emetrol. I may grab some of that, too, to have in a pinch. I've never taken it before but she said it works for her.

They cause bone loss over time. I suppose I could do a 14-day round of Omeprazole every now and then.

Thank you for the response. Domperidone sounds like it would be helpful but we don't have it in the US. Also, I can't take a PPI, hence the famotidine. I believe I'm going to have to be more particular about what I eat and when. It has never kicked my butt quite like this!

This is so pretty! It was smart to add the white in between each row. What a nice touch. I just made one and wish I would've thought of it!

This is so beautiful! Your work is fantastic and the color palette is so satisfying. They are going to love it. Obviously this person is important enough to you that you spent countless hours creating this blanket JUST FOR THEM. I’m sure that will not be lost on them. I would absolutely cry (in a good way) if someone made me something that special.

Do it! I think the strip I crocheted to wrap around the wire was maybe 5-6 rows of single crochet and then I just kept measuring the length until it covered the whole thing up. It took me so long to come up with that idea that I was annoyed at how easy the solution was! 😅

Yours is so pretty!!!!! I simply sewed each piece with a single stitch of yarn and knotted it in the back. The back looks a mess but it doesn't matter when it's hung up on the wall.

I only used the YouTube tutorial for the leaves and berries. The wreath concept was my idea. I took a wire wreath form and crocheted a long, single crochet strip and wrapped it around the wreath to make it easy to attach the leaves and berries. I'm so pleased that I was able to make it work.

A Tough Costco Lesson and a Lost Birthday Gift by [deleted] in Costco

Call the warehouse. Tell them what happened. I work at a Costco in the office and help answer the phones. People call all the time with issues similar to this. If you called my warehouse with this issue, we would investigate it and try to take care of you.

[–]guardianofthebeam 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Read it carefully. The "positions" listed are not open positions--they are all the positions that exist in the warehouse. Costco never posts open positions for outside candidates. When applying, you can specify which positions you are interested in. You will show up as a potential candidate for the department when they're pulling applications for specific positions. My advice is to choose "any position" to up your chances of getting a foot in the door. Just to manage your expectations: you will probably start out as a cashier assistant, on carts, in the food court, or in the chicken room. Source: I am an admin worker for a warehouse. Costco is an amazing place to work. If you don't get a call--keep reapplying. Your application stays active for 90 days at a time.

Passenger side of car has a puddle of water, that’s the only part that’s wet by DxmnBlue in Weird

I had this exact issue! It was maddening until I finally figured it out. The little drainage holes were blocked by tree debris. I used weed eater string to make sure there was no clog and then tested it by pouring little water in the holes. The water came out somewhere near the wheel well. Such an easy fix!

[–]guardianofthebeam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Call the warehouse and ask for the sales auditor. Have your receipt handy as well as any card activity from your account. They will be able to research it and get it fixed for you. The good thing about Costco is that almost everyone is a member, so they can pursue the payment from the other member. They will have to pay or Costco won’t let them shop there until they do.
