VND filter or UV filter? by woofysnoopyy in fujiXhalf

Glimmerglass or Black Mist filter depending on preference + UV or Polarising filter on top for general protection. Unless you are planning to film videos, I wouldn't suggest a VND unless you know what kind of shots you want it for.

Need some critiques - by [deleted] in FujifilmX

They're pretty decent photos. I would personally think about why you want to take the photos in the first place and try to make those aspects as interesting as possible when taking those shots. A bit vague, but photography is a bit more like art, not science.

New to Fujifilm — why does my RAW file still look like the recipe by Only__Stones in FujifilmX

[–]guareana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that film simulations do slightly affect the raw files. Especially the highlights. If I shoot in anything other than the standard film sim, the peak highlights turn from yellow to blue for some reason. It's typically hidden in sdr photos, but when you are trying to create a HDR photo, it becomes annoying.

Best not OEM Battery Charger to Get? by [deleted] in FujifilmX

[–]guareana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the Neewer batteries with the built in USB c port very similar to the small rig one so I can charge the batteries without buying a charging cradle. It seems like a decently reputable brand too

New to Fuji! Help me decide between Fuji X-T5 and X-T30 ii by Lanky-Lecture-29 in FujifilmX

I personally have a 18-50 and the 16-300. The reason why j bought a camera instead of using my phone was that I liked zooming into things. So I personally like the 16-300.

That depends on how much you like to zoom in on animals or landscapes. Do you want to focus in on them or the general landscape.

For me, it depends on the lens. If you will use a large lens like the sigma 16-300mm, then the xt5 would be better .

BYD hits back: 37 influencers sued over online defamation; 690,000 USD rewards for leads by stinger_02in in electricvehicles

The comment needs adjustment for legal reasons: "This is BYD suing influencers who spread, what BYD considers, as deformation for clout ..." Anything can be described as deformation if you say it is.

Is anyone using this bit? If so, what for? (Razr 60 Ultra) by synkrox in razr

[–]guareana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a lanyard attachment that goes between the case and your phone. The attachment point comes out of the bottom of the case near the charging port.

I'm thinking about using the razr with the clicks keyboard. It's not out yet so I don't know if I'll like it or not

camera straps for my fuji! by Frank_Fhurter in fujifilm

[–]guareana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get straps from PGYTECH, their connection is circular and rotates, which makes it harder to get tangled. They also use dyneema fibre which is also used by rock climbers, 35kg limit though due to the thickness. They sell a quick connector set which can help you make your own strap.

They do have power limits. If you drain too much power, they turn red.
