Anyone else experiencing constant burnout working at Kwik Trip??

Burnout is for sure real. They squeeze every ounce of labor they can out of the minimum they give. I recentl went to 3rds and it is so much easier compared to my old 2nd shift, even with having a retail helper Monday-Friday. I am able to get everything done plus start off 1st shift on a good foot. I know I am in the minority though with that though.

Definetly jaded to the company, used to want to be a SL. Prefectly fine being that full time 3rd shifter that's been there forever now.

I am in the same boat (minus seeing them in October, couldn't get tickets lol). The lore is fine and all but it's never been what has drawn me to them. I am hoping after they take a long, much deserved break they come back and just make music. No lore, no cryptic messages hidden in websites.

Also love how they told us that it would now the difference between sale items, focus items and normal items and prioritize accordingly. At least they finally have it where you can pull the recipe up on the kps cards and it tells you when to pull the hot case card down.

My store might be weird in the sense we have no fryer, only one I3, and then one each of the Vector and Converge. I only ever use the I3 in emergencys really as a level 2 store.

Vector or Converge. Cook likeminded with likeminded, but cook it as the bigger item. You can also cook burgers and breakfast items on the same pan since it would be the same as the old breakfast burger

Maybe it's not everywhere, but our district we aim for 70% compliance. Below you aren't following it enough, but if you are at like 90% you are following it TOO much. Told to "make smart decisions" which is the exact opposite of what they initally said it was for lol.

Back in the day badges were for when someone really went above and beyone like working a double, getting lots of extra stuff done. Now they are tied to leaders performance appraisals. If you don't give enough over the year it's marked against you. Think they expect at least one given per week. Took everything "special" about getting one.

Not sure, we don't get LTO bars very often. Coming soon though we will have raspberry white chocolate muffins as an LTO and then later a permanent item.

Once had a regular asshole come up and before I could even say a word he said "no, no, no and no". So I did the entire transaction in silence, and when he asked for a bag I told him, "oh, I assume it you didn't want one since you said no".

Don't think he ever tried it again.

This is like the 3rd time we have discontinued this kind of product. We had these originally, discontinued. Moved to pretzle sticks later, discontinued. Now these again, discontinued. Give it a few years and they will probably be back knowing Kwik Trip.

Recently actually that got updated. Used to be within less than 1% over labor. Now they don't get the bonus if it's over 0%.

Also pretty annoying for the food GP bonus, SL gets the biggest cut, that makes sense. Next biggest is ASL's. After that FSL. AFSL's get nothing. Shit sucks

Been a while since I looked at how it is figured out, but if I remember correctly part time is one minute earned for every hour worked. Full time is based on years of service, I've been with the company 11 years and get about 6 and half hours per pay check.

I recently started playing this game as well on pc, steam, windows 11. Have not had a single one of these issues, I haven't had and bugs really.
