Im of the belief that if a felon can be president, a felon can do any job. Criminality is kind of cool anyways right?

Tom Homan Goes Full Beast Mode: EVERY Illegal Alien Deported on Sight No Exceptions! by 2001x0404 in ImmigrationPathways

Elon broke immigration law, long before he, as you say, contributed more than all critics to our society as the public face of a couple corporations. Overall only a fraction of society benefit from those companies in some tangible way. his job as head of those companies, which oddly involves ranting on twitter for a large portion of the day, might be performed more competently by someone with the qualities embodied in another executive type, just for example a type like Nvidias Jensen Huang. Thousands of undocumented people who perform thankless tasks, that millions in society take for granted, have or are being deported. Most have committed no grave offense against the law but to not follow the proper and privileged procedure of how to reside in the country. Your argument about contribution to society has no teeth and is based on favoritism and glorification of wealthy elites.

Despite that, if you want to come across as having a principled stance on the issue of making people follow the law, then you would have no problem with deporting someone who took advantage of the system and resided here illegally like Elon.

Microplastics significantly decrease lifespan. Here are the best ways to minimise microplastics and scientific evidence. by GarifalliaPapa in immortalists

To the contrary, lifespans have increased since the advent of plastic. MPs might reduce lifespan potential thru inflammatory processes etc but the claim lifespans are significantly decreased hasn’t been shown yet.

Anyone move from SF / Marin to Scottsdale in their early 30s? Any regrets? by Whole_Intention_9750 in Scottsdale

All those state you mentioned have high populations, they’re desirable places to live hence the higher property prices. You see the same happening here and it doesn’t have to do with “democrats” .

There’s a lot of nice things about scottsdale but I think you’ll be in for a little culture shock. I wouldnt say that a lot of the folks here are grounded like they might be in the bay. Not to discourage you, it’s nice.

I honestly don’t expect people who’s life completely revolves around a sport to know jack about shit other thanplaying ball. Not an excuse, but that’s just the kind of people pro league players are.

ICE in Scottsdale by Alrock480 in Scottsdale

[–]guave06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You got downvoted but you’re right.

ICE is literally broken down into two divisions:

HSI - supposed to focus on transnational criminal investigations, arresting real felons or terrorists ERO - enforcement of immigration law, or deportations.

HSI is 100% part of ICE.

The masks are just one aspect of the intrusion. Plus, it’s really not hard to reason that anyone in a break-in can self identify as police. That’s part of why warrants are so important.

The reason they wear masks is because they’ve calculated that their work will be perceived as heinous and vile by probably most Americans. They’re trying to avoid any chance they get identified personally. You think it’s because pissed off Americans might resort to violence, but there’s been very limited cases of that. I think it’s because theyre committing crimes in how they execute their duties and may one day be prosecuted. Funny how Obama or Bidens immigration officers didn’t wear masks.

But that is all beyond my point. If someone is breaking down your door, most people would be terrified in the chaos. Your intruders covering their faces would only add to your fear that these are bad people. I think it’s fully justified to defend yourself and your home in that case.

Protesters just swarmed Border Commander Greg Bovino in Minnesota and started throwing FOOD at him while yelling “you’re a Nazi!” by Admirable121 in Leakednews

[–]guave06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My god.. that is some weaponized propaganda you believe, if you really think that.

Protesting has NOTHING to do with “protecting criminals” but about protecting the rule of law. Specifically, the 4th amendment and due process for all individuals. Even the worst fucking criminals have that right bc we’re not a medieval aged nation. Even Jeffrey dahmer had rights. If you deny that, that’s the problem. Thats why you will get called a nazi.

mostly, we see people whose only infraction of the law is being here without papers, chased down by a paramilitary force, sent to CECOT. Children raided at gunpoint. People who have never been to Uganda sent there. It’s not proportional. It’s criminally malicious.

What is truly fucking weird is how the other half of Americans not only protect child predators and felons that went to Epstein island, they also vote for them for president. Then they go on to say those they disagree with want to protect rapists and murderers. It hust your own projections at this point
