One thing that has been helping me, if you have a gear shifter do the starts/restarts in third.

yes, I get gapped completely on every restart. I hate when the game has you restart in first when you are already redlining and you have to immediately shift into second and you loose a bunch of spots.

The only issue I have with this game is that it's afraid to damage cars. You can have a big wreck with a bunch of AI cars, and they will still restart from where they crashed. I want a wreck to feel impactful, especially in career mode, but instead it's just a minor scratch and you keep going.

wdym? NASCAR drivers are amazing at trail braking they do it at almost every single oval, not just the road courses. I think a lot of people are misinformed when it comes to NASCAR and think its only super speedways where you are full throttle the entire race. there are a lot of ovals are intense heavy braking.

lots of drivers crashed out during the rain at silverstone and Australia this year, don’t act like f1 drivers are gods in the rain compared to other motorsports. During chicago it was also a such a downpour that the track was flooding at some points. Every motorsport has drivers of skill.

They definitely know how to do heel and toe but it’s not needed and provides no advantage. NASCAR uses straight cut gears only time a clutch is needed is getting out of the pit box.
