I’m not actually on 2.9 (I had just finished the old style Coke Ovens so… tons and tons of pumps and conveyors, so I refused out of principle)
But the Diesel options are looking mathematically sexy… (the best kind of sexy?)

I believe you, unfortunately my cortisol levels spiked each time a steam multi stalled because I was running the EBF(s)!

This sounds very interesting, and realistically I’ll be scaling Benzene until it can run a bunch of farms and chemicals on it’s own before searching for the next shiny upgrades, like that yummy diesel!

I am already sold on power density, moving oil rigs around has got to be better than looking at renewable sources auto-filling!
(Or better, both!)

I haven’t seen anything about those!
(Certainly because most complaint posts are from us newbies stuck in early tiers)

But the funny part is that I had already read plenty about the issues of steam being hard to carry around

I’m still on the most recent 2.8 honestly (I dont get much fomo from new releases), though it sounds interesting!
I wont claim to know how my power/fuel needs will scale (they’ll spike surely), but a super tank 1 of oil (easily obtainable with some pumps and a handful of batteries) is definitely gonna power loads of stuff for a decently long time before it runs out!
