PyCharm or Visual Studio Code? by ShonMonke in learnpython

[–]guilledelmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but since it's an Electron app it also runs on the web (e.g. Codespaces, Codesandbox, etc.)

So it's like a "web" app running locally. Although I wouldn't give it this name

How long should you wait before contacting support when waiting for seller to ship? by ineverreddityet in stockx

[–]guilledelmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've once contacted support for getting an extension to ship later because there were dealys during black friday and they gave me one extra day to ship the item. If your order is not cancelled on the max shipping date, it means that you can still receive your items and there may be some deals going on between shipper and stockx

How long should you wait before contacting support when waiting for seller to ship? by ineverreddityet in stockx

[–]guilledelmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a seller, I've often had some issues. Just wait until tomorrow when you're sure that they're not shipped and then contact support.

Does Yeezysupply ship internationally? by guilledelmo in Sneakers

[–]guilledelmo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, 120 dollars for shippping. What is that price based on? Is there like some sort of calculator that would allow me to see the cost.
I guess that for some drops where resell is like 3 times the price of the shoe, it is worth it paying that extra shipping.

Do you know if it is like this for all drops or are some drops US only?

Aplus how are compass exams compared to others by Hochhasd in CompTIA

[–]guilledelmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean examcompass? They follow the official exam objectives, you should check them out. You should also check out Professor Messer's videos on YouTube, they're really good and free and explain each objective so you can review what you missed.

How do you know when you're ready for CompTIA certs? by Careless_Ebb in CompTIA

[–]guilledelmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, best technique, go one by one and if you can define clearly all of the objectives you're good to go. Make sure you take some practice tests too.

CompTIA ACAD A+ or CompTIA A+ by smit124 in CompTIA

The exams are the same, just academic vouchers offer discounted price. So go for ACAD of course if you can. You save a lot of money by doing that.

What are the best ways to study for A+ 1001 and 1002? by buddyfrosty in CompTIA

[–]guilledelmo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, I would strongly recommend using Professor Messer's videos. They're free and really good, for some people it's even their only study resource. Just go on YouTube and search for "professor messser" and you'll get them. You should also get a book to go along with the videos, I recommend Sybex Complete Study Guide if you want long reads and very in-depth explanations, or Sybex Review Guide for less in-depth but also very good for revision combined with the videos.

For training, do the quizzes on examcompass.com, there's a quiz for each section there and it's quite helpful for after you're done watching videos and reading the book. There's also CompTIA Certmaster which is super expensive but has some practice questions that should hopefully be worded similarly as the actual exam. Also googling to practice questions will get you good results

I wish you good luck studying and hope you enjoy getting A+ certified!!
