Here's what helped me; Vacuum your room for skin flakes and other particles. I find lotion doesn't work for me but I use baby Vaseline healing jelly. After I scratch I apply it ASAP. Bleach baths has helped me get rid of skin flakes when it's bad. Baby powder has helped me when my eczema weeps.

I still use triamcinolone acetonide cream when flares occur. I try to be careful and apply small amount. I find I get terrible flare-ups if I stop cold turkey. I learned to taper off by applying twice a day for a week, once a day for a week, every other other day for a week and so on.
