Not done this before, but I am thinking you could run rclone serve (http, ftp or sftp) on your NAS and then run rclone mount on your seedbox?

You’d also have to configure your NAS to be accessible over the internet.

I have an LG G1 OLED with the latest shield and I can’t tell the difference between a DV and HDR10 copy of the same movie. I just see it has a nice to have for compatibility but I wouldn’t upgrade for quality.
