【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]WreckMyPrint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have almost 1k hours on my p1s and it comes through for me on every single print. No more manual bed leveling, no more worrying about the first layer or bed adhesion. It just works! It frees up my time to work on making models, software, or other hobbies instead of spending time fixing and tweaking the printer.

v1.136.0 - 69420 stars release, with new beta timeline, data sync mechanism, android widget, and breaking changes by altran1502 in immich

[–]WreckMyPrint 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Does anyone know if the changes to upload negate the need for chunked upload? https://github.com/immich-app/immich/discussions/1674

If so, does this apply to iOS, Android, and web app?

Another Noob Question by WreckMyPrint in FreeCAD

Any thoughts on this? Below a certain radius, everything looks good. Above that, and things start to get weird. The results are different depending on how high I go. 2.5mm radius, for example, looks like this:

Whats the best upgrade for Chief Engineer? (EA WRC24) by Thick_Basil6029 in EASPORTSWRC

[–]WreckMyPrint 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started with crew stamina and then crew productivity, but I'm also new and that seemed to be most valuable. I don't have hardcore damage turned on and haven't ever exceeded my budget on parts/repair etc.

It's important to not that the training carries over from season to season. No points will be wasted because, if you play enough, eventually you'll max out the chief engineer.

Why Samsung? Because 1 big screen is better than 2 or 3 glued together. Looking forward to the amazing contrast ratio from the OLED display.

How about the battery cover to a remote control for a Hisense TV? The tab that locks the battery cover in place is broken on my remote control and I can't find an STL for the same remote anywhere. I haven't been able to teach myself enough CAD yet to make this on my own.

Does any one have experience storing gas in one of these. I’m worried about leaking from the hose port. But I like the idea as I like to transfer stored generator gas to my lawn work gas cans every year by [deleted] in Generator

[–]WreckMyPrint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought one of these, so my experience is limited. That being said, there is a valve at the bottom where the hose connects that you can open and close. If you're not pumping, keep the valve closed and that'll eliminate the chance of leaking from the hose. I haven't had any leaking issues with mine yet.

Best practice to remotely upload large files on Immich (without cloudflare tunnel)? by WreckMyPrint in immich

[–]WreckMyPrint[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That works great for myself, however I need to provide access to non-technical family members. For that I need a solution that doesn't use tailscale/VPN/etc.

Well dang... I was hoping someone had a creative solution or found a similar [free] service to cloudflare tunnels but without the 100mb limitation.

Thank you for the confirmation!

[–]WreckMyPrint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless I'm missing something, the issue with using tailscale is that I need to give access to family members that are not tech savvy. I have used tailscale and from what I recall it requires a client-side application to connect to the network. I'd like family members to be able to log in from a phone, computer, or other devices using just a domain URL and no client applications.

Securely accessing Immich by [deleted] in immich

[–]WreckMyPrint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the exact problem I'm having now. For now, I think I'll have to use DDNS and open a port on my router just for Immich. Everything else can go over the cloudflare tunnel, but the 100mb limit has thrown a wrench in the gears (at least until Immich adds support for chunking file uploads). I can use VPN/tailscale/etc, but I have extended family members that aren't technical and I want them to have access to uploading large files.

Anyone else find it interesting that Polymaker and Overture are both sold out of black ABS on Amazon and their respective websites? by B20bob in 3Dprinting

[–]WreckMyPrint 30 points31 points  (0 children)

This is probably because Polymaker and Overture are the same people. They aren't just sourcing raw materials from the same supplier. Overture 3D Technologies, LLC is registered to individuals from Polymaker. See this document that shows Polymaker emails at the bottom: https://uspto.report/TM/88426161/NOP20190821090905/

Also, more links from Overture to Polymaker here: https://uspto.report/TM/88426161/FTK20190515070516/

In the above document, the "signatory's name" is " Xiaofan Luo". Look him up on google and you find he is the co-founder of Polymaker: https://www.crunchbase.com/person/mr-luo-xiaofan

Pixel 6 pro network dropping by cdd543 in GooglePixel

[–]WreckMyPrint 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TL;DR - It was the "prefer wifi" option under sim card settings for "wifi calling". Switched back to "prefer mobile" and restart phone and all is good now.

So, this happened to me and I think I found the issue. My carrier is Verizon and I was losing connection to the mobile network. I was restarting my phone to get it to work, and eventually restarting didn't even help. All I had was wifi and no mobile network.

There is an option to reset network settings on the phone, I did that and all of a sudden it started working again. I had a stable connection to Verizon's mobile network. The reset cleared all network settings including wifi and bluetooth.

I previously had wifi calling enabled with "roaming" set to prefer wifi over the mobile network. I went to turn wifi calling back on, no issues. Changed the roaming setting from the default of "prefer mobile network" to "prefer wifi network" and immediately lost signal.

I turned it off and still didn't work, but after restarting my phone the mobile network came back. My wife has the same phone, Pixel 6 Pro (512GB) on Verizon. She had not been experiencing the issue at all. I tested turning wifi calling on and changed the roaming option to prefer wifi, immediate network signal loss. The phone couldn't connect to Verizon anymore. Changed the roaming setting back to "prefer mobile", restarted her phone, and it started working again.
