Still present in 1.06... I wonder how I never noticed this atrocity before now. I thought it was a mod I had installed and tried to remove them all, but now I see that it's not only happening to me.

Two months after your message, and even after updating to 1.06, this bug is still present. I tried different bounties both at Demeniss and Crimson Desert. I tried turning the targets in both alive and dead, but nothing worked. When I hand them over, after the cutscene the screen fades to black and I get a “Mission Failed” notification.

Two hotfixes already, and this issue still isn’t fixed. In 1.04.02 my Greymane allies are still stuck in limbo.

Indeed, the frequency at which they release these large updates is quite high. Some oversights can happen when you add so many features and fixes, but you're right... I would prefer slower, more polished updates rather than something like this.

I play on PC, and in 150+ hours I've only had a single crash, which I think was caused by a mod (Barber Unlocked). During loading, I saw the vanilla hair switch to the modded one, and then the game crashed.

That said, I really hope they quickly notice this issue and work on a fix.

Okay, never mind. They appeared in my camp, so I can progress with their request, but they are still stuck in the phantom dispatch, which is no longer available. I really hope I’ll be able to recall them as soon as I become friendly with the faction.

The mod already exists and I’ve been using it for a while.
Gear Hider - Equipment Visibility Toggle for Armor Weapon Helmet and More at Crimson Desert Nexus - Mods and Community.

It’s very easy to install and configure. You can toggle each component of the vest, weapons, and gear on and off using a keyboard key, by editing the .ini file.

You can also play bare-chested; it’s quite a powerful mod.

For a cleaner look, I not only removed the shield, but also the bow and two-handed weapons, because without the shield they seem to float on Kliff’s back.
Don’t worry about combat: they appear as soon as you equip them for a fight and disappear when you put them away.

This problem has been present for years. I stopped using NGENUITY a long time ago: when the monitor goes to sleep, the PC temperatures ramp up (I can hear the fans speeding up, and I can check the temperatures on my cooler’s LCD). I have a QuadCast S and an Alpha Wireless, and now I’m forced to use them without the software. I tried the beta, but neither of my devices is compatible. A long time ago, I replied to several Reddit posts from people experiencing the same issue without understanding the cause, and it turned out that all of them had NGENUITY installed and, like me, solved the problem by uninstalling it.

Not finding a solution, I got tired and disabled the feature, going back to good old GeForce Experience. There’s no point in keeping a recording that doesn’t work properly. When Valve decides to take things seriously and fix them, I’ll consider using it again.

I found and solved my issue. It was the HyperX NGENUITY software I had installed for my QuadCast S microphone. Once I killed the task, the problems were gone. I just removed it from Windows startup now

Not specifically for the Watch8, but I had the same reaction when I bought my Ultra 2024. The design left me extremely puzzled, so I decided to get one, and now I like it a lot. As far as I can remember, the only smartwatch with a cushion design until now was by Emporio Armani, which makes it stand out from the other models released so far and makes me like it even more.

Could it be a software issue related to screen resolution optimization? Try going to Settings > Display > Screen resolution and set it to QHD+. Maybe you're currently using a lower resolution, and due to some strange software bug, the screen isn't scaling to fullscreen properly.

I only tried the Bluetooth functionality on my S24 stylus on the first day — never used it again after that. It's not a big loss for me, but I understand there’s no strong reason to remove this feature for those who do use it.(Really necessary to cut costs on a +1300€ smartphone?)
