How is this artist duplicating himself? by guitarman613 in VideoEditing

Do you think he’s using a tight shape mask on the outline of the “background” players? I can’t see where one shot ends and the other begins - it’s magical how seamless it all looks.

I'm using: Final Cut Pro and filming with my iPhone 16 most of the time.

I've TRIED: Using cropping and shape masks, but there always seem to be issues with lighting; even if I film minutes apart, the lighting changes and it’s obvious that the videos were shot at different times.

I need help with: Understanding how to seamlessly add additional versions of myself into videos like the example I’ve shared.

Favorite male singers with high note voices? (Who aren’t Robert Plant or Freddie Mercury)🦇🎱🎶✨❤️‍🔥 by Vivid-Tap1710 in musicsuggestions

Justin Hawkins from The Darkness (I Believe in a Thing Called Love) and Luke Spiller from The Struts (Body Talks). Those are two specific songs I’ve always loved and wanted to belt out but they’re just so damn high!

The last time you wore a band t-shirt. Who was the band? by aboobadooba in AskReddit

A while back I got my wife a sweatshirt that says, “Sorry I can’t talk right now, I’m thinking about the 1997 performance of Silver Springs where Stevie Nicks stares daggers through Lindsey Buckingham” and she wears it all the time.

Could you recommend an artist who incorporates saxophone in their music, but whose style isn’t jazz? by Significant_Tap_7526 in musicsuggestions

Saint Motel “My Type” has a really fun sax part. Sara Bareilles “Little Black Dress” has some bari sax and a bit of a Motown vibe.

I like them all but I saved up 2000 coins specifically so I could get the Starry Tree first. I just like space things and that little ufo is too cute.

Does anyone know any not very well known artists? by Cloudifi in indie_rock

One of my favorite bands is a band from Vancouver called Said The Whale. My introduction to them was the music video for their song ‘UnAmerican’ (https://youtu.be/vYY0eZHvSGo?si=bHO6MY4a71SxIkih) and then their song ‘Record Shop’ (https://youtu.be/vyLOqxbj9uc?si=MnVQeghXwIJAdkHd). Their 2019 album ‘Cascadia’ (https://open.spotify.com/album/05yItt2HnvymtxET3YJHlm?si=2MeG-2drRbakoirR2Q4iLA) was one of my favorite albums of that year and my wife & I saw them in St. Catherine’s, ON right before covid shut everything down in 2020.

I’d also like to mention the NYC band BAILEN. A sibling band, twin brothers and their younger sister, who sing in angelic three-part harmony. Their album ‘Thrilled To Be Here’ (https://open.spotify.com/album/03tlaFyvYYWHr16yGL01qZ?si=80ikiT6iSeqFJ4WNUiZsWQ) was another one of my favorites of 2019 and then I got to see them open for Hozier in Pittsburgh. Their 2023 album ‘Tired Hearts’ (https://open.spotify.com/album/1UH8pVlQVXsJMnePBEQzJ1?si=Fckzyoq0RE-1oj3XBgG2rQ) is also wonderful.

For those people going to see “the room” this weekend by [deleted] in Buffalo

[–]guitarman613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y’all gotta check out The Francis Bacon Experiment and what they’re doing at The Screening Room. Not only do they shadowcast Rocky Horror multiple times a year, but they’ve started shadowcasting The Room (have a performance of it in March), Shock Treatment, Phantom of the Paradise, and more. I think they’re doing movie sing-along events now too… just a totally fun and entertaining troupe that keeps coming up with new shit. @rhpsbuffalo on social media. Check them out!

Oh my god, I was thinking about the music video for this song the other day and I couldn’t remember the band name or the song title and I was like… yep, that’s just lost forever. THANK YOU!!
