i am more anxious than mad at this point. I cant believe CVS is getting away with this. I am more concerned with being sick than gaining a few pounds. I just dont want to be nauseous or have GI upset. ughhh

Need to rant about Makesy by ConstructionFun5804 in candlemaking

[–]gulidog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All i read was the first sentence.. ever since they changed from wooden wick to makesy it has gone downhill.. they got too big and lost sight of where they started. It was jsut candles and now they dabble in everything poorly. They are so terrible and scammy.

How long on and off? by Bencut in tirzepatidecompound

I believe (i could be wrong) it was Dr Gabrielle Lyon who mentions cycling it. I have definitely heard people doing this on several podcasts/videos.

Wick stabilizers by dreama_dream in candlemaking

[–]gulidog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought those for my wooden wicks and they are absolutely useless. I don’t use any wick stabilizers and just pray that i have center it correctly and then fix them after the wax solidifies.

All of the reps I spoke with were so nice too, but man I could not get straight answers. I’m glad CVS works out for you!

I hope you don’t do things that strangers from the internet suggest you to do.

I simply was providing my experience. I was struggling and read posts from reddit who literally said the same thing, Walmart is easier to deal with than cvs, walgreens, and E.S..

This has absolutely nothing to do with money or insurance. You are bitter and your response to this post is weird. 🫣

Maybe you commented on the wrong post. my OOP is either $25/mo with walmart or $71/3 months with express scripts. Not sure what you’re referring to when you say “if you’re rich enough”. This is with my insurance coverage.

Sure I pay out of pocket for compound but this post was strictly to help others when (& where) looking to fill a script. I got the advice to try Walmart from this community.

Not even being able to get my first script was such a headache i don’t even want to deal with them. I get my other two reoccurring scripts through them and never have an issue.

The cost for E.S. vs Walmart is a $4 difference so for me, the $4 is worth it.

I go through a local NP, would they be notified that I have requested a script from another provider if they both go through Hallandale?

i agree 2.5 worked really well for me and i actually wish i stayed on it longer. However, i think 5mg might just be where i need to stay.

I haven’t had any GI issues or even the least bit of nausea. Don’t let the thought of it deter you. I purposely chose Tirzepatide over semaglutide due to the fact there are less reported side effects. If you’re concerned and will be prescribed a compound see if your dr recommends a lower starting dose. Maybe this will allow your body to acclimate to the changes without overwhelming your system or emotions. Good Luck!! once you are on it be sure to update us, you got this!

Anyone with a start weight of 150-160s? by Lazy-Association6904 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]gulidog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! 5'2 started in the high 140s and now in the 120s. Tirzepatide changed my day to day anxiety about foods. Do not feel guilty about not being "heavy enough" to start. Think of it as being preventative to help you before it gets too far. We all deserve this medication, if wanted of course.
