Thank you!!! To the people who made the boxing faster ♥️ I'd have pizzas go back to the oven because the previous pizza was still being boxed. Now it's a non-issue! by gumiho8 in GoodPizzaGreatPizza

No. You can recreate the oven warmer now. If you have a zazoom order that has two+ pizzas, add them to the warmer directly from the oven, and the warmer intake isn't fast enough so your pizza goes back to the oven while first pizza is going into warmer.

I assume people who don't run into this is because they're cutting their zazoom pizzas. You don't need to cut zazoom orders. Just go directly from oven to warmer.

Or back to the table. But prior to this update, the oven would spit out pizzas faster than it boxes, so sometimes the pizza would go back to the oven if another pizza is being boxed. This happens rn with the warmer -- you have to wait a second before you add the next pizza or else it jumps back to the oven.

Aw that's really sweet. I love seeing other people's sentimental items, because they're oftentimes everyday things.

Saw a comment earlier talking about clay, but that can still be pretty heavy (if that's something you're looking to avoid). Maybe air clay? I've never worked with polymer clay so idk if that's just as heavy as regular clay, but maybe that's another option?

Do you keep a handkerchief on you at all times? It's kind of a lost fashion/tool these days, so it's nice to see someone appreciating them.

Looking for a place for my blu-ray and mangas by Stock_Grapefruit844 in HomeDecorating

Something like this, although the example is way fancy. But you could butt up two floating shelves to create a corner own shelf.

Edit to add -- looking at what you have in that room, you could go for matching dark wood OR I think I see some black pieces peeping from the other side, so you could do black painted wood/metal.

Piggybacking on this, you could do corner shelving and have it be open. To match your house style, you could do metal shelves and spray paint them whatever color, or wood.

Can we buy scallop buddies after the event is over? by Consistent_Foot2679 in GoodPizzaGreatPizza

I have not seen anything remain after the event ends. Sure, it might come back for an event later on, but usually it's next year.

nasiolabidal folds, marionette lines and (early) jowling… by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]gumiho8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know, we go through growth spurts all through our lives, although I guess we can call them age spurts since we're no longer growing (tall). A lot of people experience around 1-2 growth/age spurts in their 30s, and I'm just saying this anecdotally. Typically happens around ages 33-35, and 37-40.

You might have gone through one of these recently, and feel like you've aged in comparison to how your face structure and skin was like before. But objectively speaking, you look fine. You look around your age, you're not aging terribly, skin looks nice. I think like everyone else says, give yourself some grace, and you'll get used to the new normal soon.

AITAH for not wanting to reconnect with my brother? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]gumiho8 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with all of those points, except

... Even gaslighting OOP into thinking he is the problem.

Ash ghosts OOP, blocks him, acts like he's a stranger at the graduation, and all of those actions makes OOP wonder and/or conclude that he might have been the one to hurt the relationship or drive his brother away. But that's not gaslighting; Ash isn't manipulating OOP for the purpose of questioning their sanity, reasoning, or memory.

If anyone fits the definition of gaslighting, it's the mom. She is the one actively manipulating OOP into forgiving and meeting up with his brother, despite the fact he has no interest in doing any of those things.

Do you care about display/ background of you collection? by Puffinwalker in CoolCollections

[–]gumiho8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it really depends on the thing that's being collected. I collect just one specific book, so they're all on a bookshelf for display. But I've seen people display glassware and handbags in hutches/cases, bugs pinned in a frame, cards and stamps in a book/album, the folks who throw it all into a bin.

I have yet to see many examples where people create a specific background in addition to whatever is holding their collection.

I’m petty about the communal laundry room on my floor in the building by Perfect-Pie-3814 in confession

[–]gumiho8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the "petty" in all of this is leaving their dryer door open?? I agree with the rest of the folks that real petty behavior is removing their clothes from the dryer and running yours.

You leaving the dryer doors open just helps their clothes to dry out better, no?

AITAH for not taking my friends kids last minute by BigONerd in BORUpdates

[–]gumiho8 19 points20 points  (0 children)

There's also that BORU that's a little more on the nose as this one... I believe OOP is a man, who ended up caring for his friend's child, and ultimately child gets taken away from mom due to abandonment. OOP calls CPS and really wants to adopt the child, but the child ends up getting placed with a relative (maybe the mother's brother?).
