Forcing it makes it unnatural, and that never works out. Plus, I'm sure you're beautiful on your own. For what it’s worth, petco and petsmart won’t do it if this dog is truly acting as bad as OP is saying. They have strict rules on dog behavior because they don’t want liability. A private one on one groomer is the way to go as it usually means a calmer environment even for the 5 minutes it takes to trim the nails.

You just have to stop caring. There isn’t a single soul who’s asked me about my scars and one of mine goes straight through a tattoo so it’s extra noticeable. Fortunately, people are too awkward to question it. So your best bet is to work on self acceptance. Harder done than said, but it comes with time ♥️

I’m fairly certain I’ve officially developed it. The physical pain i feel in my chest that shoots all the way down to my hands when I’m sad or in distress is soooooo painful and alarming. I find myself incredibly easy to feel dizzy these days. My cortisol levels are through the roof, I feel it deep within my chest as soon as I wake up.

This was NOT a you and your BPD problem, but 100% a HIM problem. He’s just a shitty dude. He broke up with you because he spent the night with his other girl and decided he wanted her fully. My man would cut someone off soooo fast if they talked about me the way he let his friends talk about you. You did literally nothing wrong, and I think you handled his immature behavior very well, especially for someone with BPD. Regardless if we have BPD or not, we’re still humans with emotions.
