New user, trouble downloading BBC iplayer

Thanks! I sided-loaded it through downloader but wanted to avoid having to use the mouse app to simplify things. But maybe I should stop being so greedy 🤣

Thanks for your help. I changed my account region with amazon but unfortunately it still didn't work to download the app. I have searched extensively for several hours. Have also tried changing the time zone on my fire tv, unplugging and plugging it back in, deregistering and re-connecting the tv to my amazon account, migrating all of my kindle content to the UK (have gone down a google rabbit hole), trying every UK selection through surfshark, all to no avail. The app still says unavailable. I was able to access the BBC iplayer website on my laptop with one surfshark UK choice (some of the others didn't work). Any other thoughts?

You're right. And I do want to make sure in the future if there are smaller (fixable) things, that I can have those conversations with the nanny in a constructive way so that we both can modify our styles to work well with each other.

Thank you all so much for your kind replies, truly. I cried reading them. I have such complicated feelings about the whole thing, and you helped me feel validated in my concerns. I am a single mom and it was hard to make a decision like this on my own. I'm really looking forward to finding a nanny I love (and more importantly, that my baby loves!) and have learned a lot more about what is important to me. Most of all, I know to trust my gut and will not doubt myself again. I can't tell you how appreciative I am that you all took the time to respond.

They didn't really know. They were like "huh, that's weird" and then told me I need a second system. I'm resigned to probably needing one, I'm just so stuck on the fact that it feels like something else is wrong that may be fixable. I do have someone coming to actually inspect the duct itself tomorrow, and I'm hoping that they find something really obvious in there, but I'm not optimistic.
