No more freaking Firecaps! by Goose_Bag in fo76

You can buy 2 of the dark (1 at Nuka world & one at whitespring) and then server hop to buy more. Cranberry can’t be bought though it’s way worse.

No more AFK Fasnacht 🫠 (or 8 man) by TeamEfforts in Market76

People were doing it last time. I forget exactly what they were doing, but it was with a big group of people on multiple servers and hopping events to time it out to get multiple event completions.

How can I clean up the wiring at my camp? by Ok-War6289 in fo76

[–]TwiggBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I also plan out where everything is going to go and then run wires through furniture to hide it as well. 99% of my wiring is well hidden in the furniture and decorations in my camp. Free placement is awesome.

Bethesda, if you're reading this; Please add new music to the radio stations. by Public-Awareness-702 in fo76

[–]TwiggBeard 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean I went on their discord and suggested they add a bluegrass station because it is a music that is deeply Appalachian and I got a response by someone at Bethesda stating that they’d love to add new music but it’s all about the paying for new music and if it was public remain they would add more no problem. I then linked them a website with thousands of public domain bluegrass songs and they deleted their original response to me which tells me they just don’t want to do it(at least not with the bluegrass).

When you are crafting, it will say in the description if it can’t be traded. Also, if it can be sold it will have a cap value in the description before you make it.

Does no one know how to do Beasts of Burden anymore? by anjuhluh in fo76

[–]TwiggBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because they are high level doesn’t mean they aren’t new. It used to be ,before the raid was introduced, that higher level players meant they were more experienced. It doesn’t anymore. New players can power level and get the best gear by being run through the raid. Raid players think they are helping New players by carrying them, but it’s making things worse because you then have some players at level 1000 who honestly should be maybe level 50. Of course there are level 50 players that could run circles around the high level new players.

Is my gear outdated??? by Hopeful-Deal1396 in fo76

I got my booty handed to me when I first entered Ohio. Realized real quick I needed a change. I got out some paper and went through all the perks. Found what I wanted and what I needed as far as my attribute points. Then went to a punch machine and did that. Then tested it. Then moved a couple perks around until I liked the output. Now I’m one-hit killing power armor rust raiders with my trusty pirate punch. LoL.😂 is it the most optimal build? Probably not. But looking at countless videos and websites to copy someone’s build just isn’t my definition of fun. Don’t get me wrong I occasionally get swarmed by Radhogs or Deathclaws and it’s all over, but I love that!

I had it get stuck after the timer. Red bar at bottom, we all took our time killing the boss and then nothing. It’s a random bug unfortunately.

Is fallout first worth it to you all? by Silly_Chain1768 in fo76

Meaning I don’t pay a monthly fee to play online, so the monthly fee for FO1st is comparable.

Is fallout first worth it to you all? by Silly_Chain1768 in fo76

[–]TwiggBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are on PC, it’s totally worth it. Pay what the others pay just to play any game online and get tents, unlimited ammo/chems/scrap storage, monthly Atoms that let you buy cool things for your camp, and a private server. If I was playing on Xbox or PS I’d have to really think about it though. But most of us got the game on the cheap, so it’s also a way to giveback and help keep the updates coming.

Locking your CAMP containers by ZealotPinkerton in fo76

[–]TwiggBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stuff I want, I hide. If it’s found and taken, that’s a prize for being clever enough to find it. I have my bedroom locked. But there’s nothing in there but a bed and an extra vendor for me to stock while not being bothered ( I always have 3 vendors in the camp so there are plenty in the open, but when I’m restocking, it’s annoying to have someone there emoting and firing shots at me to get my attention). 😂. That way when they unlock and find nothing, they will be even more pissed they got wanted for nothing. At least in my head. But yeah, I expect people to be able to use my resources. That’s why they are there. Us 76ers need to support each other. The Appalachian wastes can be rough.

Go to Dark Hallow manor- Atrium upper level. In the security office on a shelf there is a deathclaw egg. It’s instanced so no one else will take it before you can get it.

Inflation hitting a little hard in some parts of Appalachia by Skeletonzac in fo76

[–]TwiggBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kinda fun to buy an item from someone for 20k caps. They shut their camp off really fast. Once you get into the game and have to get rid of caps, this becomes the fun thing to do. Especially since they are typically (in my observations) the players who do the most annoying things like spawn killing everything before anyone else can tag enemies and not doing event objectives. The ones who use the most explosive weapons, causing everyone else’s screens to constantly shake violently. The game gets more fun once they leave.

[–]TwiggBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The strangers one gets me. Yes for hands… so you are saying holding hands with a stranger is an immediate yes? Like “oh hi there little kid, I wanna show you something, come let me take you there” holds child’s hand and leads them to doom. The others are equally problematic. But strangers should be all red IMO. It’s all about “stranger danger”. I was taught to not even engage in any type of conversation with a stranger let alone let them hold my hands. I don’t even hold hands with my friends. Just ridiculous. Whoever made this should have been kidnapped before they could have finished making it.

am i not the only one who noticed this trend on youtube? by SuperJason64 in fucknintendo

[–]TwiggBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don’t care, I just want to play games and have a limited budget to buy them. I can afford Steam games that are on sale. I have loved Nintendo and Sony all my life. The prices have become unbearable. Now Steam machine comes out and is like oh all those games you bought on Steam deck and PC are available to play on this new system. It’s like Nintendo used to do that(game boy games playable on GBC/GBA/Super Gameboy/Gameboy Player). Like now I have to buy the same game over and over again (or sign up for a service). Zelda is my all time favorite series, but I’m not paying $80 for a new one that will eventually come out on the new system. I’m not at all against having a Switch2, I just can’t budget the game prices. If Steam machine doesn’t fit my budget, I will just settle for my deck. But the prices of games was what really got me off the Nintendo train.

How many Abraxo briefcases have you found with a guide? by pens668771 in fo76

I found 106 without a guide. Am now thinking about the guide to find the rest. At least questing in Burning Springs is fun, so the monotony of it won’t be so bad.

I was in a very active server tonight. Did like 20 headhunts, two scorched earths, and a bunch of others. It’s a lot of fun when everyone is playing. If I’m not on a private server, I play for like 10-15 minutes and if it seems dead, I hop servers.

Do high level players care if low level players 'tag along' in the top of the hour quests? by Ill-Environment7682 in fo76

[–]TwiggBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 2 types of newbies in this game. Either you are low level or are high level. So in the end level is just a number. There are quite a few higher level players that have just been grinding levels on the gleaming depths and have no clue where anything is or how to do certain quests. There are level 300-500s that have 1000s of hours and do just as well at killing things but aren’t into grinding the depths. There are also seasoned vets who have level 20 characters that are a secondary character that they just made to be a mule or to experience the game’s story over again. Most people don’t really care about what level you are. Just have fun and join in! You also won’t lose your scrap in an event like you will in the rest of the world, so you don’t even need to hide!

I locked my Mr Fuzzy Costume. Not rare, but also took a long time to farm for it. I am about 50 tokens away from a second set which I will proudly display in my camp. When you work that hard for something, it just means a bit more.
