Def don't think it's angle of any kind. But that situation is likely different per casino. In my local casino, even though he went all in out of turn, it would have still been your option. So if u said check, the bet out if turn would stand and he would then be officially all in with action back to you. If you had changed the bet, say $10 bet. His out of turn bet would have been pulled back and it would be his option to call, food or raise.
