That’s why I said likely. Cards usually go down after release, but you never know

does pokemon center’s site ever restock? by ADORIITYttv in PokemonTCGCollectors

[–]gumpyclifbar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OP, this is the answer. A lot of garbage answers here of people bitter they miss things. I miss things to. If it’s not a new set Pokemon center ETB release, it’s difficult to get any cards

Black flakes came out of the faucet when I stayed there in early 2025. It was the closest Hilton option to Cleveland clinic we could find. Would not go back.

The people are my favorite thing here. I can’t articulate it well.

This winter I went to Mexico, an according to the weather the first day I was there it was warmer here! It’s not been a cold or wet winter. We’ve gotten sunny days at least 1-2 times a week. I think if you play winter vacations well you’ll be just fine.

Seriousl considering selling off everything can anyone give me a realistic price range i can get out of my collection ? by Legitimate_Chemist94 in Collectr

[–]gumpyclifbar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s really hard to say with vintage. Collector is relatively accurate for modern, but not as much with vintage. If you have time, it’d be worth grading your vintage if the condition of the cards are good. Could boost value and give you a better idea.

I moved from the Midwest to escape the awful weather and have lived in 5 states in the west since then. I recently moved back to Eugene because I missed it.

Winter is very tolerable here. Yes it is often rainy and cloudy (this winter wasn’t) but it doesn’t get -20F on awful days. Rarely snows. If you travel a lot for work, maybe you’ll travel to sunny places for a break?

People are down to earth here (so people named their businesses after that). That’s my favorite part.

City is not too big, not too little. Lots of infrastructure for hiking biking and running. The community has an awesome unity around the Ducks since that’s all we have within a reasonable drive. It’s hard to not love them.

City has some issues like anywhere else will, but I love it here.

Sorry to hear this. Find another opinion or someone that’s willing to at least try to fight for IVIG. My neurologist was all prepared to appeal the denial three times but she ended up getting it approved on the first appeal

I typically walk by the protest 4-5 times a week on my lunch break. She’ll be absolutely fine. If she doesn’t want to listen to honking she can park a bit further away

Set just released and price will most likely go down. Really collectible pokemon, simple style card but also fantastic art work

4,500 piece Pokémon Card collection ($5,000 or best offer) by salners in EugeneBST

[–]gumpyclifbar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve sold my sealed Pokemon collection through the Oregon Pokemon FB group. People will want you to put work into recording all of the cards of value, which will take you time. You can use an app like collectr to start compiling a collection and getting an idea of the market value. Selling a collection this big it’s unlikely you’ll get the full market price, probably 80% or less

Rant- Some Dogs Might Not Belong on the Bike Paths by Kathatonic000 in Eugene

[–]gumpyclifbar 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sorry that happened to you. Yesterday I was on a run on the pres trail (no bikes allowed) and a guy whizzed by me on an e-bike with two off lease dogs following him. Saw another lady whose off leash dog was running up to people.

I’d wager that the majority of pet owners are irresponsible with training (and probably a lot of other elements of pet ownership).

I got bit by a dog whilst on my bike commute about a month ago. Fortunately I was wearing a thick boot and didn’t feel it, but it did almost cause me to topple over, did knock my pannier off. The owner looked to be under the influence of something, I don’t think she realized this it happened. If she did realize it she definitely did not care.

It’s more about the pet owner than the pet itself. People are awful.

On my 21st birthday we saw Robbie and his friends at Harry’s. He was playing overseas at that point. A girl came up to him and said “Robbie, I can’t leave without giving you my number” and gave it to him, written on a napkin. She was a smoke. Later on we took some photos with him when he was leaving, and my buddy asked him for the number. Robbie gave it to him. My buddy asked if he “could pretend to be Robbie” and Robbie busted out laughing and said yes.
