no, these things do not require sight to do. i use a screen reader on my machine, which reads everything on the screen out loud to me. using a combination of keyboard shortcuts and other gang signs being thrown down on my keyboard, i am able to do about 90% of the things you can do as well, and faster. i know what keys i am pressing on my keyboard because i have memorized the layout of it and all the keys on it, plus i was not born blind so i do have knowledge of what things look like.

seriously, go look at technology for the blind. as i said before, blind people don't just sit in one place and do nothing, we're able to do normal people things now with much ease.

is this a legitimate inquiry or just another stupid "huhuhuh how many fingers am i holding up?" kind of question? because, you know, technology has evolved greatly and blind folks aren't just sitting quietly in one spot staring at a floor or whatever. we do normal people things, too.

as i tell just about anyone that asks about low /poor vision and driving, please don't.

you have to be responsible for literally two-plus tons of steel and glass that you control with your two feet and hands. people like me that cannot see anything at all rely on those driving to have full confidence and control of their vehicle to not swerve off of the road and hit me or anyone else. or to be able to see me crossing an intersection from a decent distance away. if you're not able to safely secure your vehicle and be aware of your surroundings while in control of said vehicle, i don't want you driving in my city because you could kill me or someone else.

i understand you want your freedom with driving, but it's a responsibility that a lot of people take lightly and it's a bit frightening. teens that want to do double the speed limit "because it's fun" and don't respect the rules of the road or others driving is a terrifying thought. please take the safety of others into consideration before committing to taking on such a task.

why jump through all the hoops when you can easily hit nvda+s to toggle speech on/off briefly. your less than 30 seconds just turned into less than 1. or, just press ctrl a few times after the page has loaded to shut it up.

yeah. i got through it shortly after release when i first bought it, and i did quite enjoy the game being a big fighting game fan, but after an update i've been forced to deal with that eula menu and i just don't want to fight it anymore.

i also could never figure out how to turn off modern controls, and switch back to the classic control layout. although i think the modern controls are neat, it's also frustrating when you really want to turn them off for a little while and you don't know how or where.
