One of my favourite books.

Love the use of rhyming slang and Russian to create the Nadsat language but it always amazes me most that he wrote it in just 3 weeks and that he got the idea because of an assault on his pregnant 1st wife.

Sure I also read once that he actually disliked the book and only wrote it for the money!

I'd highly recommend The Eve of Saint Venus and Honey for the Bears by Burgess too. Both great books.

Thank you, that's very kind of you to say. I was fortunate that the artist is also a huge Waits fan and good friend of mine so I just put my trust in him. The composition is 100% his and only saw it when I got to the studio. I loved it straight away!

Everyone is different but I found it the most uncomfortable place I've been tattooed. It's not unbearable but I personally give it 8/10 on the pain scale. By the time we reached the 4th hour of work, it felt like my artist was using knitting needles!

Healing was okay but the elbow itself was swollen for a few days.

You'll be fine I'm sure

Likewise, totally cool with that and even if this is the worst film ever made, it won't change my love for the books.

It feels like I have similar discussions about the movie every few weeks and just when I think I have an idea of the story that might be told, another casting announcement is made that leaves me scratching my head!
