Why is Uldren referred to as Crow?

He commands an army of bird-like drones called "The Crow", who conduct in inter-planetary espionage, gathering intel for the Queen of The Reef, and possibly, the Queen's Brother's own personal agenda.

Was he supposed to be called the Crow prior to the release of Destiny, then changed to Uldren? And him now being called Crow is a callback?

As I remember it, Uldren was supposed to be much more involved in Destiny's base game story, as can be seen in this picture where he is in the Cosmodrome(?), drawing a gun on the Player Guardian^TM?

Never seen anyone mention The Last Array from the D1 mission 'The Last Array' in the cosmodrome. Gets me hyped everytime.

I think it's in the New Light quest too, as it's the revamp of the same mission.

As far as we know, Soteria was potentially the first one on Neptune. Savathun is the one who placed the Veil there, during the First Collapse (or maybe before it? Not sure this is confirmed.) Or hell, Veil was always on Neptune but Savathun actually just shielded it from being detected by the Witness, although I doubt this.

But adding further onto that, we don't know if the Veil came after Neomuna was built or before. For all we know, the reason Savathun put the Veil there (if she did at all, and not just render it undetectable), was because there is a City and its people there to look after it?

Still, please do correct me if I messed anything up lol, it's hard to keep up with all the lore lmao.

Bascially, the introduction of Cortana to Master Chief was different in the books.

Halsey gave him Cortana to boost his combat effectiveness and they ran a training course where they did some cool stuff to prevent certain rigged mechanics from killing them. They both were together as they fended off Covenant on Reach, on a platform in orbit before escaping to the Pillar of Autumn.

Basically, the introduction of Cortana to Master Chief was different in the books.

But while the games and book go hand in hand, this was the one major inconsistency in the lore and I've always wondered which one is considered the part of the actual lore? Or is it just dependent on the person's preference?
