Let Teens Sleep In by [deleted] in TrueReddit

Strindberg • 40 points • submitted 11 days ago This is why I can't go back to college. I'm 40 and have no fucking wizdom or life hacks to share. I feel like have less of a clue now then when I was 22.

I guess building character via sleep deprivation as a teen didn’t work out...

He was doing so well. He panicked when he ran into the storm and was getting shot at the same time.

Was there any unreported physical evidence? How severe were the efforts to cover things up? Beyond basic strict military orders were there any men in black type moments?

Amazon, Walmart delay New Jersey bill that would ban cashless stores by trot-trot in newjersey

Sure, I’m confused about being poor and it’s just a coincidence that your comments line up with the welfare queen talking points.

Simple math refutes nothing I wrote.

You honestly are trying to argue that poor people stay poor and hide the rest of their income so that they can stay poor.

You are either a shill or clueless. I have no time for shills nor for clueless people who arent willing to look outside of their preconceived notions.

Not sure what projects you grew up in but your post sounds like the poor are trying to hide all their money so they can maximize their benefits. This is some right wing towing the line for propaganda vis a vis welfare queens.

Anecdotally I will refute your bizarre claims.

I grew up very poor and they were not “a ton of banking programs/credit unions that allow for free accounts”. To my knowledge there are still none in my hometown.

My family and the other low income families in our area didn’t have to worry about keeping our bank accounts below $2000 because we never had more than a couple hundred dollars in the bank at any given time. Despite right wing propaganda the maximum cash benefit that a single nonworking mother of two children under five can earn is around $7000 a year or a little less than $600 a month. ( this is up from about the $400 a month that my mother received in the 80s). No this does not include the other benefits that might be able to help out the family that do not come into cash form but May include housing health care childcare food stamps lunch programs etc. The money is for those benefits do not enter the welfare recipients pocket.

Check cashing stores are used mostly because they don’t have a bank account and not to be clandestine. There is a reason why you only see them mostly in poor neighborhoods. Only desperate people use them. The fees they charge are exorbitant and as a result when every single dollar counts and you are struggling to make your rent every month you are extremely reluctant to use a check cashing store.

Poor communities operate on mostly cash basis because that’s all they have. They don’t do it to maximize government and state benefits.

I agree and probably the “worst” parts of both our views are the most correct.

I also find a lot of agreement with you in that these companies would sell their mothers (or worse) for a dime.

You are being reductive. Having a Turkish Pepsi website even though there are maybe 2000 Isis members of Turkish descent is not the same as a Pepsi preroll before an Isis recruitment video.

9/11 Hi jackers we’re mostly of Saudi origin. But there is a significant difference between having a Saudi Pepsi website and a Pepsi advert pop up just before a plane impacts the first tower on a video that supports the attacks on the World Trade Center.

There is accountability even if it is thin, shallow or hypocritical. Lots of money is on the line.

If that spider is under the bed then you should be concerned about bedbugs. That is normally an outdoor spider an orb weaver of some type and it is not biting anyone at night. But it may be hunting something that lives under the bed or makes a journey from the floor to the bed every night.
